Hi Nat, This sounds like a bug. I'll do some testing and first see if it works as intended. Then I think I can add an option (maybe a toggle button) to disable automatic sorting. Thanks for reporting the issue.

This version is a maintenance version. Below are some of the issues had been fixed: Improved preview performance, reduced buffering time. Fixed exported DVD on some devices can not be playback smoothly. Fixed output frame rate is not stable when mixing videos with different frame rate. This issue caused some animated effects do not look smooth after export. Fixed issue rendering text in right to left languages VideoPad no longer automatically converting audio sample rate to 48k Hz. Edit: Change for audio sample rate has not been applied.

Hi Nat, The media list currently is in alphabet order. After adding a new clip it will automatically scroll to where the new clip is. For example if the new clip started with 'a' it will scroll to the beginning. It will scroll to the end if started with 'z'.

Hi Jack, This error message normal appear when some of the files do not installed properly or can not be accessed. Would you be able to run a diagnostic build and send the trace file back to us so we have more information about what happened? Please check your PM to download the diagnostic build if you can do so. Lossless feature is still experimental and still need more work.

Logoaway plugin works on pixels units. That means it will look different if you preview and export at different resolution. To get it works, try set the preview resolution to what you want the export video be.

What's the format of the original video? Lossless export only works when input video are also H.264. It simply moves the packages from the input to the output without decoding and encoding.

Lossless editing can be enabled in Options->Export->Other->Enable lossless video exporting.

Image sequence is basically uncompressed video and it does require every frame to be generated for its propose. If you want less frames you can lower your export frame rate. You can also try screenshot if you only need a few images. Just typing the time position in the preview window or drag the red cursor on the timeline and press the screenshot button.

Please check out the next version when it released. Preview buffering improvement is the biggest change for this release.

Yes, we did out best to optimise preview performance. Unfortunately we have to make substantial changes. It's still in testing since we want to make sure the changes not breaking other features.

Have you tried burning other project before? Is that the only project you have this problem? Edit: I've asked around and found we had received similar report and the fixing was just finished. I'm trying to include the fix to the new release, might delay the release a bit though.

Hi, You can stretch the sound track precisely in WavePad (our another product). Which also accepts a resultant duration instead of percentage. It seems we can improve the speed change feature like WavePad's. Just need to make sure it also works for video. Best regards,

Memory footprint is also our major concern. You can apply deshaker to multiple clips by select them in the media folder(bin) and then right click and select "Stabilize Videos". For other effects, select multiple clip from the timeline and select "Replace effect chain in other selected clips" or "Add effect chain to other selected clips".

Hi, That's because we are having an issue with the deshaker plugin. It crashes while we try to use it from multiple threads. We disabled multi-threading for the plugin for now and hoping the issue can be fixed in the later version. Best Regards,

@cbreemer: Subtitle is design for generating standard subtitle files (SRT, SSA) therefore they can't overlap. I think Text Clip is what you looking for - it can contain rich style text and can be moved around freely in the timeline like other clips.

We've improved preview performance a lot and fixed the problem causing "Building Preview" appear too often. The fix is applied to the next release which is in testing now. I'm hoping the new release will come out in a few days.

Pasting works with hot keys (Ctrl-V) but we didn't have a button/menu for it. We'll find the right place to add one.
