  1. Yes, I've noticed current default size is a bit too big. Thanks for the suggestion.
  2. Threadhold and Fadding do the same job as what Forground and Background do before. You can also try the Base On option. You should be able to get the exact same result as previous versions. Otherwise yes, please share the files so we can have a look.
  3. This problem has been fixed and will be applied to next release.
  4. I agree that the current way for editing subtitles is awkward. But the reason subtitles are relative to sequence is that the sequence can only have one subtitle at a time. subtitles don't overlay each other like other clips. Yes, we are looking for improving subtitles editing. Suggestions are most welcome.
  5. What you can do is save the subtitle as SSA or SRT which can be selected by players. Edit: MP4 does support embedding text stream as subtitle. VideoPad does not support this feature currently.
  6. Are you getting the line on preview or export? Which version of VideoPad are you using? Could you please provide screenshot?
  7. Also please tell us what version and platform of VideoPad you are using.
  8. Hi, Yes, default subtitle duration is 3 seconds and there is no way to change it. Thanks for reporting the issue. We'll find a way to let you change default subtitle duration.

    4/3 ???

What version of VideoPad are you using?
  10. Now I can see why you need word wrapping and justification. Unfortunately VideoPad don't have paragraph formatting abilities. Yes, I think we should have it in the feature. Best regards,
  11. VideoPad don't do word wrapping because for video editing, in most of the cases are better without it. For example if you want to have a long text line and scroll it from right to left (like we see on TV). In that case you want to avoid word wrapping. Another common usage is rolling credits. It's most likely manually type in line carrier better then word wrapping automatically. Other things like subtitles are better using manual wrapping too.
  12. Hi, There are a few things you can do to remove part of the video: Separated the a section (Cuting): Put the video clip on the time line Move the red cursor (drag the handle on top of the time line) to the position where the section starts Press the floating "Split all tracks" button or press L Move the red cursor to the end of the wanted parts and split again. Now have separated the section form the video. Remove video: Right click on the video clip on timeline Select Unlink from Audio Press Delete Hope this helps,
  13. Yes, please upload the project files to a file sharing server (DropBox, Google Drive etc.) and PM me link. Thanks!
  14. Hi, This could caused by an issue we have found recently when exporting effect animation to variable frame rate. The issue will fixed in next release. To workaround the issue for now please export use constant frame rate instead (check Constant frame rate on export dialog).
  15. Once the wave file is saved, you can find it in Audio Files media folder. Right click on the wav and select Open File Location. Windows explorer will open and shows where the file is.
  16. Please contact our support team and specify the version you need. http://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/support.html Thank you,
  17. This is a bug. I've reported it to the team. Sorry I can't think of another solution. Thanks for reporting the issue.
  18. Hi, The rectangle area you see in Clip Preview is what should be stretched to full screen by the effect. You can add keyframes in the same way as the old one does. It works better with dual preview so you can see the actual effect in the Sequence Preview. Best regards,
  19. Hi, Thanks for reporting issues and sorry for the late reply. I can't reproduce the problem here so it is difficult to tell what exactly happened. It could be the code signing of the old version have issue with the new Windows. I'm not sure the uninstall problem neither. Here I tried uninstall and reinstall various version from 2.x (including v3.14) and have no problem. It could be some installed data have been corrupted in your installation. I'm glad you've got the problem solved. If you have problem with the latest version please post here or contact our support team. Best regards,
  20. Please try v4.40 which can be downloaded from the web page. I think this problem has been fixed recently. Best regards,
  21. Update: We've found no reason to force convert sample rate. We are working on remove the conversion and keep the original sample rate whenever possible. We've also found a bug in the sound filter that converts sample rate. The fixes will be applied to the next release. Thanks again for reporting issues,
  22. This is what "noise.wav" looks like in my WP: Maybe that's because you have a different version of WP?
  23. @borate: You can found the noise in WavePad when you zoom in vertically. But they didn't look like having a problem though.
  24. Hi Josef, Since VP converted the sample rate therefore new samples are inserted. So it is normal that you can find extra samples when you compare to the original. We've noticed the artifact now and started investigate two problems: Why VideoPad have to convert the sample rate? Why artifacts are introduced while converting sample rate? I'll get back here once we solve these problems. Thank you,
