  1. The only way to track down a true issue is to see the project, as instructed in the reply to your "Picture Missing After Export" thread. If it turns out to be a bug, it will be quickly addressed.
  2. How long is the project? What is the resolution of the bulk of the source files? Have you tried an AVI export, using the MPEG4 compressor? This needs to be seen by folks here. Please upload the project, or a portion that contains the zoom. Of course. Save Project File AS before doing any excising, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. Then you can restore a project to the state it was in when saved. Just double-click the VPJ file (which isn't playable). 1. With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. 2. Locate the saved, numbered folder and upload it to a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* (Don't upload the export file or only the VPJ.) 3. Get a shared, public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. Click the blue "Change to anyone with the link..." Then click COPY LINK | DONE. 4. Paste that link here, or click the folder, above top-right in this forum, and message it to me. This is private and won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  3. Upload your pre-stabilized files for testing and someone will try to replicate the issue. Mention your stabilization settings.
  4. No one has ever reported not being able to select a clip on the timeline. Below, each clip is first single-clicked in turn. Preview does not respond, and is perhaps why you believe that the clip can't be selected. Then, each clip is double-clicked, and preview displays each accordingly. When focus has been shifted away from the timeline, single-clicking will only select a clip; it won't preview until it's double-clicked. Be aware too that when a video clip is selected, the audio track will not change to to grey if audio and video are not linked, as with clip 3 in the video below. This is normal behavior. When posting, please profile a brief, descriptive subject. Record_2020_09_29_13_37_47_724.mp4
  5. Clips are licensed to all locations. File a report with Google/YouTube. Mention that a USA user has no issue with these clips. http://SUPPORT.GOOGLE.COM/youtube/answer/2797454?hl=en
  6. Using the latest VP version, doesn't do that here. When the name is changed from "MyAudio" to something else the counter begins at .0001 with the next narration.
  7. Using v8.84 here, adding an exposure effect to various clips does not alter their position in the timeline, so your finding could not be replicated. Your video doesn't show the clip being shifted into the future, but only that a .25 exposure effect has been applied to clip 2 after you initially applied a -0.15 exposure to clip 1. To add an effect to multiple clips, select the clips then click any one of their FX icons. Configure the effect, then click the "replace effect chain" button. on the effect window toolbar.
  8. You have posted to an old Videopad thread. Is this a MixPad issue? Post to that forum, with specifics... https://nch.invisionzone.com/forum/69-mixpad/
  9. New hardware notwithstanding, are video drivers and Direct-X up to date? https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html
  10. As export fail can result from a number of things, your freeze may not be the same as that experienced by others. To track it down, please answer a few questions... What version of VP is being used? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. What is the resolution of the bulk of the source files - HD, 2K, 4K? Is this a one-hour project? What are your PC's specs: GPU, CPU, free space on the C:\ drive and type of drive? What are your export settings? If you take a few minutes to upload and share your work, folks here will help solve the issue. The process is easy, quick and can be private. Just follow these steps... 11. Direct VP uploads to YT can occasioinally fail, though not the fault of Videopad. Uploads in the middle of the night may do better. Take the alternate approach when this occurs... Export your project in a YT-acceptable format (mp4 is fine) and use their uploader. If that fails, then it's definitely a YT issue. Check this out.
  12. Without seeing the project it's tough to say what settings need to be changed. Servers like MS OneDrive and Google Drive are free. If you already have an account from either one of those providers, just sign in with your existing ID and PW and follow the steps above. http://onedrive.com https://www.google.com/intl/en_in/drive/ Someone will be glad to take a look. What version of VP is being used?

    Re-caching

If the cache hasn't been cleared, the previous project should load very quickly, as confirmed by a test with a 20-minute video here. Initial load took a few minutes. After VP was closed and the project reopened, the cache was full instantly. What version of VP is being used?
  14. Did several successful tests and it seemed to do the job Nat. One crash though.
  15. Review the earlier posts for yet another method.
  16. As the 2.4x series was likely a product of the XP or Win 7 era, the compatibility tool tries to fool Win 10 into running the older-gen program. Worth a try. Set it for Win 7. If that doesn't allow an install, try XP. A list of legacy VP releases can be found here. Ignore any virus warnings.
  17. Extra points for that. 😄 Auto-match is but a suggestion, based on source files.
  18. What version of VP is being used? Share your file and someone will come up with a fix. It's quick, easy and can be private. Just follow these steps... 1. 19. Glad it worked out. The A/R referred to Aspect Ratio/Resolution for export...
  20. The imported project, on Sequence two, will have discrete clips, complete with all effects, transitions and audio just as it was when created, so there is a distinction between that method and loading a previously exported file. The clips from the imported project will be in the bin. But if Sequence 2 is then dropped into Sequence 1, it's much like loading a prior export. It's now a single clip But in this case only the video track is shown, though effects, transitions and audio will play. HOWever, if timeline Sequence 2 is selected with <ctrl-A> then copied with <ctrl-C>, it can then be pasted into Sequence 1 at the head, the cursor or end. It will retain all of its discrete clips, efx, transitions, and audio will display. So, in essence, the projects are merged.
  21. Under Menu, click the FILE, then Import Clips From Another Project. Locate the VPJ file for that project and iIt will appear as sequence two. Tab over to Sequence one on the timeline. Click the Sequences tab in the bin and add Sequence one to Sequence two. The added sequence won't show an audio track or effects but they will be there.
  22. Mo better.😄 To jump to a specific mark, use the other method.
  23. <alt-S-P> may be about as close as it gets.
  24. Select the bookmark from Sequence -> Player -> Goto Bookmark... -> Bookmark-Name Bookmarks in this list will be ordered sequentially as they appear in the sequence.
  25. Easily achieved. Record_2020_09_27_09_12_21_845.mp4 If you prefer not to use an additional track, shorten clip two, extend clip one, then lengthen the left of clip two to match up with the end of clip one. Record_2020_09_28_00_24_44_823.mp4 If clip two snaps back when shortened, hold down <alt> while dragging its handle.
