  1. That error can mean that VP is still in memory. Use this free utility to uninstall most traces of Videopad. Instruct it to delete all VP registry entries as well. Then reboot the PC and attempt a VP install.
  2. Possibly - your PC may have an issue. If the operating system is an older 32-bit Windows version , try this Videopad release. The link in your last message doesn't work. What is the error?
  3. Programs are often on sale for much less. Don't know what the terms of your bundle were. At the top-left, does it list ? If so, you have purchased it.
  4. VP works just fine for most users. Here is the 'free' 64-bit version. There will be some limitations of course, and encouragement to purchase, but it doesn't expire. If mp4 export isn't available, try AVI. As for glitching, submit a link to your project here and someone will check it out and work with you to fix issues. Four easy steps are all it takes... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  5. Perhaps nothing. A direct upload test was successful here. This may be a YT (temporary) issue. Does the project play well when exported to a video file? If so, try uploading that result with their uploader... https://tinyurl.com/nw9bas34 If you share the project, someone here will test a direct YT upload. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... 6. Note that the H264 codec, under the mp4 wrapper in a test here, produces a VBR export, even when CBR is specified.
  7. Tested a number of mp4s here and they all showed up in PV. Take a minute to share a file or two that does this and someone here will check it out. Just upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. Using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  8. La vista previa del clip y la secuencia son independientes.
  9. The next time this occurs, share the project. The developers then may be able to analyse the issue.
  10. Good tip. But you have tacked on to a two-year old thread. If issues arise, begin a new one with a descriptive subject.
  11. May well be a PC issue. You have tried many things and no one has been able to replicate your results on this very simple editing task. Try another PC, if available. One approach would be to edit - say - ten minutes of video. Export. Edit another ten or so. Export with a different # or name When all has been exported, import each export back into a fresh Videopad window. Merge the parts and export the final.
  12. You exported to the Mac hard disk first, then copied to the stick? Share the project and someone will check out export on a PC. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... 13. Videopad can handle mixed-size and A/R images, but sometimes adjustments are necessary, such as applying an aspect ratio effect. The only way folks can see what you see is if you upload a project that has mixed images and will not export correctly.
  14. That's too bad. Right-click the back-up folder. Click PROPERTIES. What is shown as its size? Google and MS are essentially FTP servers and are relatively easy to set up and use. If you get the time to follow through we'll be here for you.
  15. Your FTP site will work just as well, as long as the link you provide is publicly accessible. Click Videopad's MENU (top-left). Click FILE | BACK UP PROJECT TO A FOLDER. Choose a folder for the back up. The result will be a numbered/dated folder. Individual files are not needed. Upload that folder to your server. Get a link and post it here, so others can access and download the folder.
  16. The posts to the 2018 old thread are consolidated here. If you have any Google or Microsoft account, you can use their free servers, per the instructions above. Or sign up for an account. Here's the info... https://www.google.com/intl/en_ng/drive/ https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/onedrive/online-cloud-storage A project is normally too big for mailing. It's the project FOLDER that needs to be uploaded and linked here (or in a private Personal Message via the envelope at the top of this forum). Just follow the instructions above carefully and we'll be able to analyse the issue. Befre starting, have the full project on the timeline, playing just as you want to see it when exported.
  17. What version of Videopad is being used? Much has changd since the 6.x releases mentioned in the original thread that you referenced. Please install the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Let's have a look at a project that balks. Someone will come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps...

    Music copyright

Clips has been licensed to all locations. File a report with Google/YouTube. Mention that a USA user has no issue with these clips. http://SUPPORT.GOOGLE.COM/youtube/answer/2797454?hl=en
  19. There were two tiny gaps, which could be seen in Storyboard mode and excised. There was .014 of 'garbage' between the two reversed clips that froze. It too could be spotted in Storyboard mode and deleted. Back in timeline mode, at the same spot, two text overlays - visible as a thin, black line - were also deleted by placing the cursor on them and pressing DEL. As for the freeze, the best bet is to pre-produce each effected clip. Use a new project and trim a single clip to contain only the desired content. Then apply the reversal and speed change. Do this for each clip, and export each independently at 1280x720 resolution. Open the project and replace the original clips with the pre-produced ones. NO further reversal or speed change is needed, so export will be swift. Please leave your project link live for a week or so, in case a develop wants to access it.
  20. Did you purchase from NCH or Microsoft? If the former, the registration should be good for any version released within six-months of purchase date. Version 8.63 was released at around that time. Try it, or a close, later cousin to see if it will accept your registration. Click MENU (top-left). Click Register. If the issue persists contact the company at the above link. They will straighten it out for you.
  21. If the release you purchased is doing the job there's no mandate to update; it won't expire. Retain your registration info. The installer can usually be found in this path... "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad" (or similar, without the x86) It can also be downloaded here. Regestered reinstalls are normally no problem. But if one arises contact the company. There's a six-month grace period during which upgrading is free. After that, unlicensed newer versions can always be test driven, to see if they often anything new of interest.
  22. Export your project in a YouTube compatible format, then use their uploader in lieu of a direct VP upload. https://tinyurl.com/hcdrpts If Videopad balks at mp4, try AVI. If that doesn't work, download and install the 'free' version. The unlicensed version is not to be used if you advertise or monetize the video. Pay for the Masters Edition. In any case, you won't have to start over.
  23. The VPJ control file by itself is of no use. Here's what you need to do so we can check out the project. Just follow the four easy steps closely...
  24. VPJ files are instructions to the program; they aren't playable. Each time Save AS it used, with a unique # or name, another VPJ is created. This is protection, if you need to backtrack. Double-click a VPJ and the project will be loaded just as it was when the file was saved. Never move or delete source files until certain they will never again be needed. If there's a crash, an autosaved VPJ may be found in the Videopad folder. But, when restarted, VP usually prompts to reload the project.
  25. Does your PC have AMD components? Try the latest beta version. Share your project. Someone will take a look. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps...
