  1. If a ten-second recording, made at 120fps plays in slo-mo on a video player, then it will do the same in Videopad, as in the example linked earlier. If slowed by 50%, it's length will double. Give it a test.
  2. What version of Videopad? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. What export format and compressor are being used? Try what's shown here - mp4 with H264 at Default Quality / Filesize.
  3. The editor is not 'locked' and will input each clip fully, irrespective of frame rate. If the 120 clip is ten-seconds long that's what will be loaded. No slowing unless you so specify with a right-click | Change Clip Speed. The project will export at your chosen frame rate.
  4. There's no option to set preview fps. Suggest stringing together a brief project of varied clip to test export at 24fps. Drop back again if the result isn't what's expected and mention the VP version being used.
  5. Using the latest release, selecting (highlighting) a single subtitle entry, then making changes under the Format tab seems to be working as intended. Other non-selected entries are not affected if is chosen prior to making changes. Don't have Sriracha, so cannot test that here. Perhaps the font is incompatible with VP?? Tahoma works well. File a bug report. https://tinyurl.com/ygvg54so Be specific about those marks. If possible, please Include a link to screen shots shared on MS OneDrive, Google Drive or the like. You can revert to the earlier release; just install over the current version. Depending upon your job, using text overlays in lieu of subtitles may be an alternative. Compose the text with your preferred editor, then COPY/PASTE the result into the VP text editor window.
  6. Saved! Save AS often, with a unique name or number. Be sure that there is sufficient free space on the C:\ drive. In Videopad click OPTIONS | DISK menu and Clear Unused Cache Files.
  7. A VPJ project file is saved in case of a crash. With Windows Explorer (the file manager) Look for AUTOSAVED.VPJ in this path... C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\VideoPad. Search the PC for other VPJ files. Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. 8. Thanks for sharing. For good measure it was allowed to fully cache in VP 10.43 (64-bit). That took a long time. This is a GeForce 1060 card. No H265 crash, but it failed at 25, 35 and 40MB. Default was okay. Export wasn't attempted. With H264 and export @SmartMax 60fps, 35000kbps the result was consistent with yours. No GPU activity witnessed. That's inconsistent with the new pipeline introduced recently where there has been considerable usage, so something may be amiss. This info has been passed along to the developers. Please do leave your files up for several days.
  9. Never thought of entering a bitrate manually; in hindsight realized that you had. Don't see why that would be a problem, but only testing can confirm.
  10. You must have entered the choice directly, as it's not one of the presets... You have correctly posted a link to the image, thanks. Awaiting the PM file/s.
  11. Please upload your test files. We'd like to take a look. Where are you specifying the 35Mbps setting?
  12. 8.06 is dated. Newest versions have been re-engineered to utilize GPU much more efficiently. Give this 64-bit release a test drive, even if unlicensed. Retain your old installer and registration. If you upload your two-clip test and link it here or to me in a private message via the envelope at the top-right of this forum, someone will check it out. Upload the clips alone, or the project. If the latter, follow these simple instructions. If using Google Drive, GET LINK, and be sure that it isn't "restricted." Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  13. Tested many other formats for clips one and two and could not replicate the issue. Yet, reportedly, this can happen if the second clip is previously cut where a frame starts. The simplest fix is to overlap the content on track 2, or extend it slightly. Another approach would be to expand the track with the slider at the bottom-right, then split-out and delete the unwanted frame/s. In this example, the 'flash' of clip 1 is just above the gap in the audio track, though the thumbnail displays clip 2.
  14. Use the AMPLIFY effect - perhaps at 200%. This is a work in progress. Stay tuned to this thread.
  15. Correct length and good overall result on this file when using the MPEG4 compressor. Click deshaker OPTIONS to select it. Click ADVANCED for other settings used in this test: Standard (NTSC) pixel aspect, Progressive scan, Adaptive+fixed (no borders).
  16. Restart Videopad. Before loading anything, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Click the MEDIA tab and UNcheck the box that reads "Automatically normalize audio volume of external audio / video files." Load your VOB. Plays fine here in 10.43. A fix for this should be forthcoming.
  17. YouTube, for one, accepts many resolutions... Recommended resolution & aspect ratios 2160p: 3840x2160. 1440p: 2560x1440. 1080p: 1920x1080. 720p: 1280x720. 480p: 854x480. 360p: 640x360. 240p: 426x240. Experiment with the lowest res that gives you the desired result... 1) Try Videopad's direct YT upload options. 2) Export a video file at the desired resolution and aspect ratio, then use YouTube's uploader. 3) Or upload the file to Google Drive and get a shareable link that folks can access.
  18. Checked with MediaInfo, Windows 10 deshaking here results in a 5h 16min file - sometimes only audio, at others A/V - yet file size isn't larger than the original. It tends to drift out of sync. What equipment created the UNstabilized file?
  19. Upload a VOB that has the missing audio issue please. Someone will check it out.
  20. To my ear there is little if any difference, but for gain (volume) disparity between the two. But your ear may be more discerning. Test different codecs. Under AVI, in particular, there are numerous audio quality choices.
  21. Both are listed as "stabilized." What's needed is a single UNstabilized file, so it can be tested in the deshaker module.
  22. Post the link to an unstabilized file here and someone will check it out.
  23. The reason that there is no change in file size is because project content qualifies for lossless export (same as original). Click the blue link: MP4 Encoding Settings / Custom. Change the Lossless Export field from Auto Detect to Off/Re-encode Video. At 2000kbps, the file size is reduced to 41.21MB.
  24. A OneDrive link should work for forum visitors who want to look into the issue. A bug report would go to the company, which is apart from a file linked here. And this may not be a bug, but a setting for the deshaker plug in. Test the suggestion above, with W10.
  25. Next stabilization, try this setting, under ADVANCED. Submit an unstabilized test file that has the issue, and someone will take a look. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
