  1. Here, the pop up appears only when mousing over a keyframe, and it's always below it. There's no way to suppress it. Let's see a screenshot. Upload it to a free server such as Dropbox, get a shareable (public) link, copy the link and post it here. Specifically, display the 'handle' that you are accessing.
  2. Are you referring to a vertical pop up with the scissors that appears on the timeline? If that's the case, reinstall (no need to re-download) repeatedly until the pop up becomes horizontal.
  3. The deshaker seems to be doing its job. But effectiveness may be limited by the gradual/smooth movements in this clip. The original isn't very shaky. The result.
  4. Yes, when the source files are the desired ratio, the export will be as well.
  5. SCALE it up, in lieu of ZOOM, to 1.35. Or just ZOOM it with no CROP. With aspect ratio changes of this nature, some content is bound to be lost, unless stretched.
  6. Delete the CROP effect. Add the Aspect Radio STRETCH effect to all clips. Reduce the final text file to 5pt size. Export at 1080.
  7. Never saw caching time take that long even on complex, multi-track and effect projects when using a conventional drive. The program now runs and caches on a 1TB SSD, which did improve loading speeds. Share a project that loads slowly and others may test it for comparison. Just follow these steps closely... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  8. If problems persist, let someone take a look at your video. Take a minute to share the file. Just upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. Using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  9. Seeing good LOSSLESS result for your project with this version. Give it a try. It's beta, so there may be undiscovered quirks. Retain your installer and registration info.
  10. Perhaps this page will lead to an answer... https://www.nch.com.au/general/contact.html Or this form... https://www.nch.com.au/support/regcontact.html And there's often someone here to help sort out issues.
  11. To create an ISO, select Image File in the "Burner" box... Check the "use bookmarks as chapters" box. Under ADD MENU, if Basic Play is chosen, there will be a single PLAY button, no clickable chapters. If Basic (List) is selected, then the Navigation | Title or Root menus have clickable chapters. Here, they respond individually where the bookmarks were set. When play finishes, the Main menu reappears. Clicking it brings up the chapter display, as shown above. The only issue is audio noise at the head of clip 1 (of 3). That bug has been reported.
  12. Using beta release 10.14, a fade IN/OUT of white text was exported and showed no background distortion. Likewise, your linked images appear to my eye to be identical. The 'bad' grab is at the left...
  13. aPNG transparency is now being saved upon export in beta version 10.14.
  14. That's not what is seen here. Five bookmarks. Under NAVIGATE | TITLE menu there's a single Main entry. Click it and the five chapters drop down. Under NAVIGATE | ROOT menu the five chapters display without the Main entry. Each of the five choices invokes play at the appropriate bookmark. However, occasionally the Title and Root menus are not available (greyed out). But resuming play usually brings them back. In Windows 10 double-clicking an ISO will spawn a new drive letter (in the Windows Explorer file manager). A virtual DVD. In MPC-BE click FILE | OPEN DVD/Blu-Ray, find the drive and click SELECT. To close the drive, right-click on the Windows Explorer entry and Eject. Try Express Burn for enhanced features.
  15. Using the current version, there are no glitches when exported at 1280 x 720. A few observations... No need to load unused files (those without the green check mark in the top-left bin). They just slow things down. In the text line "And watch the village you are connected to" - suggest you remove an extra "o" in the word "to." You might also fade out the two music cuts.
  16. You must change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view" before it can be accessed. Or simply say yes to the request you have just received.
  17. There is certainly no mandate to upgrade. 'Bells and whistles' are subjective.😉 But major performance enhancements have been made, and more are in store. Download the 64-bit latest release, which greatly improves handling of high-resolution video and complex projects. Newest versions can always be test driven for free, though some features may not be available.
  18. You will lose nothing if you Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. Try the suggestions above. If no joy, follow the instructions above to share your project, and someone will have a look. Issues are usually quickly solved. As for burning to DVD, an mp4 export is fine. Use any burning software. But there's no need for that intermediate mp4 step. In Videopad, simply export as a DVD (Movie). The button is on the toolbar. Initially it's best to burn to DVD-RW (rewritable) media, so a disc isn't wasted. Those disks can be erased and burned repeatedly.
  19. Try three things first... Under OPTIONS | DISK tab, Clear Unused Cache Files Export at a lower resolution. For example, if you are now using 2K, try HD1080 or 720 instead Update to the latest release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If none of these measures succeeds, please share your project. Someone will take a look and come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be private. Just follow these steps... 20. Any still image or video will work, as long as it's on a lower-numbered track. "Blank clip" refers to the ADD BLANK button on the VP toolbar. Higher tracks always take precedence so if the image on a track two is smaller than the image on track one, then track one will be seen in the background. 21. A DVD Movie export with bookmarks, using ADD MENU Basic (List), offers clickable chapters under the NAVIGATE toolbar TITLE menu In the MPC-BE player. It's the same for the JUMP TO menu. How that would translate to other players is unknown. Bookmark titles won't display, as they are now DVD chapters. For more extensive authoring try https://www.nch.com.au/burn/index.html Make suggestions via the chevron at the top-right of the Videopad window.
  22. In lieu of real-time coaching, there are numerous tutorials, videos and HELP files available... https://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23872-videopad-tutorials/ https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/kb/1254.html https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Videopad+videos Direct specific queries here; someone is always willing to help.

  24. "Link Google Drive" shows up here in my 8.99 Windows version. When clicked it brings up Google sign in, where the account can be chosen. In lieu of that, export your file, then open the desired Google Drive account in your browser and upload via the Drive interface.
