Works fine here. The shadow could be a bit hard to notice though. Could you try a bit more. Sorry, we implemented the feature but didn't wired up with the GUI since it's going to be changed. Thanks for pointing it out.

  3. Thanks for reporting the issues. We are in the same team with EB developers so we'll work together to fix the issue. They are currently on holidays though (as I mentioned in the previous post).
  4. The DVD & Blu-ray created by VP should be region free as far as I know. I'm not sure though, there should be software tools out there to let you find out the region code.
  5. Please check your PM - I'm sending you a previous version before we make some related changes. Please try it.
  6. What preview resolution are you using?
  7. Thanks for the report. Could you please try one more thing: Since you mentioned that it works fine in the low-res preview. I'm wondering what happen if you export to a low resolution, maybe same as the preview.
  8. We've tried the test files on a few machines and couldn't reproduce the problem. Does it always happens? Could you please try update your graphics driver? If update driver doesn't work we would like to get more information: Type in "dxdiag" in windows search box from the system Start menu. Click "Save All Information..." and generate a report (.txt). Paste the report here or PM me. Best Regards,
  9. They'll be back at about 2-3 weeks later. I'll make sure this issue gets taken care of by then.
  10. Yes, lossless export only works for unedited cuts. It would be great if you can send the disc to us. Here's the address for our Canberra office: NCH Software, Inc. Level 1 19 Barry Drive Turner, ACT 2601 Australia Thank you!
  11. Hi Dstnrgrs, Could you share (upload to DropBox or Google Driver) the project and the photo?
  12. Lossless exporting still under developing. You can turn it on from Options->Export->Enable lossless video exporting. It doesn't support MPEG-2 for the moment but we'll add it in soon. We would like to investigate why the 3 hours recording has problems. Would you mind post here what kind of USB TV tuner are you using? Thanks for report and describe the issue in detail.
  13. Unfortunately some of the key people in this area are currently on holidays for a few weeks. We'll start investigate and solve this issues as soon as they get back. Please follow this topic as I'll post anything we find here and you'll receive email notifications. Thanks for your patience.
  14. It works fine for me. Please report here if anyone else has the same issue.
  15. If you choose export to "Blu-ray Movie" and it does played on players that would be something we need to investigate. We'll try reproduce the the problem here and fix it if we find the problem. If you burn a "Data Disc". It is not a Blu-ray Movie. It will depend on the ability of the player to play other media files - therefore you got inconsistent result on different players. Exporting to "Blu-ray Movie" was tested here and should work for most players. Would you mind give it a go once more and report back with more details (like how it failed to play)? Try burn to a disk directly instead of an ISO file - so we know if the problem is at somewhere else. Best Regards,
  16. To extract a video frame for editing, VideoPad has to begin the decoding from the closest keyframe. Some MPEG-2 streams contain very few key frame or some of them have only one keyframe at the beginning. If that's the case VideoPad will try to generate more keyframes in order to have good performance while editing. This process will take a while if it is a long video but it will only need to be done once.
  17. Is that the ISO file exported by VideoPad does not played well in blu-ray player? Did you directly burn to the blu-ray disk from VideoPad (Export->Blu-ray Movie Disk)? If so you can't change export settings (codec, frame rate, resolution etc.) since VideoPad would pick the appropriated settings for you which will play well on players.
  18. The original image (green_beans.jpg) is in 259 x 194. So it will look blurry if it has been up scaled (the image in the video is larger then the original size). This is normal. But there is another problem in your screenshot show the image is broken at the right and bottom. I think that's what you actually talking about? We've tried but can't reproduce this problem. Please try upgrade your graphics card driver see if the problem goes away.
  19. This image looks like have some wrapping problem at the right and bottom. Could you please upload and post the original image here?
  20. That looks weird... The icon is form Windows Shell (Explorer). VideoPad would not intend to change the media file icons. It might cause by something else. Anyway, to fix that, try right click on the file (e.g. a mkv) and choose Open With -> Choose Another App Once you changed the default program for one file, all files of the type will also changed. Best Regards,
  21. I've filed a high priority item on our list. It must be fixed before next release.
  22. VideoPad can't modify existing DVDs. It can construct a complete new DVD though.
  23. Sorry for the delayed reply. If above suggestion doesn't work, please also try delete this folder: C:\Program Files\NCH Software\Components and reinstall. You also need connect to internet so the components will be downloaded again. If you couldn't find the old version, please contact our support team to get one: http://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
  24. I've checked Sony's support site: https://esupport.son...4&mdl=DCRTRV340 It seems USB streaming is not supported on Windows 7 and 8 - which means you can't record to your PC using a USB cable. Have you tried connect through firewire or recording on USB with other software?
