VideoPad does not support multiple sound track at the moment. Before we implement the feature split the audio outside VideoPad is the workaround.

Is that a problem or what you wanted? Please give more detail e.g. How you add the background music - by recording or adding an existing sound clip?

Is that any existing sound clip already on Audio track 2? If so it would probably be the new clip was inserted at the left and pushed everything to the right.

No, the problem only occurs when converting multi-line text from the old version. Create them in the new version is fine.

We are working on it but unfortunately you have to wait for the sound processing to finish at the moment. If you export before sound processing finish, the export process will wait automatically.

I've confirmed there was an options dialog for stabilize in the old version. It has been removed due to the awkwardness, We'll create a new options dialog for it. Thanks,

Update: We've found the bug and fixed it. This bug occurs when loading a project includes text clip with multiple lines from early version to 4.08 and later. The project will be corrupt when you save it in the newer version. The next version will be free from this problem and also be able to load the corrupted files and fix them. @Dazzray: We'll contact you and send you free upgrade for the next version. For now please try the modified project to continue your work. Thank you for help us finding the issue and sorry for the inconvenience.

@Dazzray: The backup files are in fact the files you supposed overwritten while you chose "save as". You got a backup file each time you "save as" on it, and the number at the end of the backup file name increased by 1. It seems the project is corrupted at some point. Try open the earlier backup file since they never get delete since the first save as. I'm more interesting in investigate how the project was corrupted. Could you please share your project on DropBox/Google Drive. We might be able to fix it up for you. If the media files are big, please just upload the vpj file (the latest one). If you can find the backup file which just before you upgrading to 4.10, please share it to us too. @Nat: This is because Windows Exporter didn't refresh. Just press F5 will refresh the file list. They used to have "Refresh" on the menu back in XP...

Hi, We'll have a button to disable it in the next version. Do you mean playback? It will always scroll to the red cursor to begin the playback. You can click to move the red cursor to where you want to play. I'm not sure why 48 but it seems like a codec default. Stabilizing will try to keep the same quality as the original video. Yes, the settings are mixed between options. I've filed a bug for it. Thanks,

I'm pretty sure the black frame issue was fixed in later versions. Yes, the number of times you can export is limited for each version. We release new version roughly every 1-2 month. You can always try out new releases. We don't have a trial period, you can try it as long as you want.

Which version are you using? Could you please try out the latest version (v4.10) if you are using an older one?

Hi, Thumbnails would not be a performance hit since they are from the preview cache. They need to wait for the caching to finish to be shown efficiently. The performance for showing thumbnails should be much better on a fully cached clip. We are working on make the preview caching more efficient though. Best regards,

Hi, Thanks for sharing the project file. The black frames are caused by fade in/out transition. In order to fading from one clip to another, they must on the same track and no gap in between. Transitions are not work if two clips are on different track. In your project this issue can easily fixed by moving the clips from track 2 to track 1. Also make sure the transition is created by click on the button in between the two clips. Hope this helps.

Is it possible to share the vpj (project file) and the original clips (on DropBox, Google Drive etc.) so we can investigate the problem? To upload less files, try remove all the other clips from the project and keep only two clips that has a black frame in between. Export and see if the black frame issue still there. If yes, save as another project and share the vpj file and the two clips. Please PM me or post the link here. Thanks,
