    Sony has no drivers for this camcorder for Windows Vista or Windows 7

    Sony DCR-TRV340 Digital 8 VideoPad v 3.89 I have not tried to upgrade the camcorder driver. I happens every time I attempt to use VideoPad.

    Camcorder is connected to PC and shows up in Devices. When attempting to capture video from camcorder VideoPad starts the camcorder playing and then gives this error message: "Device error. It may be in use by another application" I don't find anything that seems to be accessing the camcorder.
