    Fade in?

All of which makes almost no sense and is probably, as is the case with nearly everything, for an older version of videopad than 4.4. Also, there is NOTHING ANYWHERE about how to fade between parts within an existing video. This is only for, essentially, starting fromn scratch and making a whole new video.;.
  2. aAs it is q1AM and a project is due at noon today, this is probably useless. But Videopad "help" is useless as tits on a bull. Nowhere can I find anyhting (help file, instructions, various tutorials people have posted online) that explains how to delete a portion of thw video part while leaving the audio just as it is. In the first place, everyhting I find talks about either edirting the whole clip, which edits bot audio and video tracks, or splitting the audio to edit onlky the audion track. NOTHING about how to just remove a bit of the video while the audio traxck stays the same. Also, nothing seems to be based on version 4.4, which is what I have. And 4.4 is so different from other versions that even some menu selections mentioned in tutorials do not exist any longer. And even if I could afford an extra $65 to get a grand total of two phone calls, I really doubt I'd get the help I neeed in time to get the thing done then get it and numerous other things assembled into the projextx I have to turn in. NCH apparentl;y does not care very much about whether or not people can actually use some of their software. If they did, they'd have a current manual that people could actually follow, rather than one where the instructions only work if you already know a lot of htings about videopad, and they'd also have tutorials that sre applicable to their currently sold version.
