  1. This may be related to the discussion here. Allegedly, it will be fixed in a soon to be released version
  2. Take a look here... http://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/tutorial.html Also do a WEB search for "Videopad tutorials." Lots of stuff available, but be sure they're for a recent 3x or 4x version. Many changes throughout the years.

    Audio scrubbing

Ahh, thanks Sam. I was looking under the OPTIONS|AUDIO tab.
  4. What became of the audio scrubbing toggle that was discussed some months ago? Or was scrubbing abandoned?
  5. Not able to replicate that here. If the audio and video are somehow linked right-click the audio track and UNlink. I laid down a ten-second music bed, then added pictures to the video track. The audio track remained static when video out points of any clip were dragged to the right, even if total video extended beyond the audio.
  6. In a test here, a control- or right-click on the timeline did not prompt for bookmark creation. So the SEQUENCE|PLAYER route was used. Chapters were shown on the burned DVD, not as menu items, but instead as small vertical chapter lines. So it appears that another burning program may be needed for more extensive authoring.
  7. Something is afoul. Worked fine here with VP 4.22, which you can download from http://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/ Here's the interface... Note that all the images are shown, unlike what is seen in your screenshot where it appears that #s 1, 3 and 4 haven't correctly loaded into VP. Check to be certain that no effects have been applied. Here's the result... http://hevanet.com/hb/Jennifersue.wmv
  8. If possible, upload the two shots to a server and link them here, so folks can try to duplicate what you see. Personally, I've not experienced this behavior. You might also check your video chip or card manufacturer's WEBsite for an updated video driver... http://geforce.com/drivers (NVidia) http://support.amd.c...nload  (AMD) http://www.intel.com...ics  (Intel) If problems arise, ROLL BACK via Control Panel|Device Manager|Video Adapters|<your video adapter>|Drivers tab|Rollback button
  9. Is this the procedure that you followed? If a sequence is going to be burnt as a video DVD, chapters can be added to the DVD by setting bookmarks. First, add bookmarks to your timeline: Control-click the timeline at the position where you would like the chapter separator to be and select Set Bookmark. Change the name and color of the bookmark if you like (this will not affect your DVD chapters), then click OK. Repeat the above steps for every position you want to start a new chapter. Each bookmark will be used as a chapter separator. [*]Second, choose to export your movie to DVD: Follow the instructions in Saving, Sharing, or Burning a Video to burn a DVD. A dialog will appear, asking if you would like to export your bookmarks as DVD Chapters. Select Use bookmarks as chapters.
  10. Did the message display immediately upon attempting to export, or did the process appear to work but resulted in the error? If the latter, take a look and see if the file was in reality, created. This has been seen in the past here.
  11. If you have a Google account, just go to http://drive.google.com and follow instructions on how to upload and share files. Then post that link here. If you don't have an account, sign up here. https://accounts.goo...m/#&ltmpl=drive Your one ID and password on Google is used to access ANY of their services.
  12. Open OPTIONS|GENERAL tab and clear the cache. See if that makes a difference.
  13. You are posting to a thread that dates back to July, and allegedly the glitch has been fixed. What version of VP are you running? Have you tried lowering preview resolution? Is the problem evident in the exported (produced) video?
  14. While not specific to Videopad, here are some general suggestions. Much depends upon the scope of your productions. 15. Looks as if you've spotted a problem. Followed your procedure and saw the same results - a non-zoomed image of the wrong color.
  16. Using 4.22, two still clips were tested several times, using crop, scale and zoom effects to size the second clip to exactly match the first, with various vert/horiz borders. Export showed the same result as preview, so I couldn't duplicate your result.
  17. ZOOM has been a part of every VP version for years. For a custom pan, use keyframes on the POSITION effect or play around with MOTION.
  18. Open File Explorer by clicking on the "folder" icon on the taskbar. In the left panel expand the "Local Disk (C:) folder by clicking on the small arrow to its left. Then, below, click the "Program Files (86)" folder. In the right panel, double click the "NCH" folder. If there's a "Videopad" folder, double click on it.. The install files are there.
  19. Unable to duplicate your results with 4.22, whether text was static or scrolling, using similar white January 2015 lettering in a black box.
  20. Your images were not posted. Upload them to DROPBOX, Google DRIVE, One Drive or the like and link here. Double check to confirm that no effects have been applied to the text overlay.
  21. Post a screen grab of these anomalies, if possible. Link it here.
  22. What version of VP are you using? Download the latest from here. The OPTIONS page should look like this... I looked at your AVI in preview and it displayed as well as expected at any resolution. The exported (produced) Mp4 file at 1280 X 720 (YouTube preset) looked a bit less sharp than the AVI original, but nowhere near as bad as your posted example.
  23. Upload the original Debut capture to DROPbox, Google Drive, YouTube or the like and link it here. Someone will take a look.
  24. These links may help... (Skip the first five minutes or so; tutorial uses older VP version) http://nch.invisionz...stills-missing/
