  1. Why not? You can always revert. Read this first.
  2. The file linked in the "v4.33" thread appears to be 4.33. Download that file.
  3. Your GPU (graphics processor) may be lacking, but you have one ... or you would see nothing on the screen. Open CONTROL PANEL. Click on DEVICE MANAGER. Double-click the DISPLAY ADAPTERS tree. The subfolder of that tree should list the name of your GPU adapter. Post that name here and someone may be able to assess its capabilities. Whether it would be most cost efficient to purchase a capable video card or to buy a new PC? Hard to say. Weigh prices for a system that is powerful enough for consumer video editing, which can be resource intensive.
  4. At the top-left of the VP window it should state whether it's "unlicensed" or "licensed software."
  5. If a sequence is exported and then added back into the timeline it is just another clip, which can be rearranged as mentioned earlier. I spot no way to shuffle sequence tabs.
  6. Under the preview windows there is a SPLIT button, with options to split the entire clip (audio and video) or specific tracks. Use it to define the clip portion that is to be deleted, then select that portion and press the DEL key. If you make a mistake, immediately press <ctrl-Z> to backtrack.
  7. You aim to rearrange CLIPS on the sequence... Left-click on a clip, then drag it to the boundary between two other clips and it should snap into that position. Experiment. If you don't get what you want use <ctrl-Z> to backtrack.
  8. A sequence can be dragged up to the "overlay" area, where it will appear on top of other sequences. Of course, that may foul up your overlays. Also, there's a line of 5 dots ..... under the preview window. Place the cursor there and drag upwards, to reveal many more sequences - at the expense of preview window size.
  9. Nat posted this link a while back.
  10. Click the FX icon in the .jpg clip on the timeline, then ADD EFFECT (top-left button on toolbar) such as MOTION, POSITION or ZOOM. Plot a few keyframes to create the trajectory that you want. Read this. You might also want to check out Photostage. a video tutorial that could be helpful.
  11. Along with doing a regular SAVE AS - with an incremented file #, so as not to overwrite the earlier version - it's wise to BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO A FOLDER. Thus all your material, including the second-to-last (penultimate) clip, should be accessible should problems surface.
  12. This thread is one-year old; it's best to post a new thread with a descriptive title. But, since we're here: the OPTIONS dialog to "place cursor at end" isn't working correctly in version 4.3 Instead, select the clip and click the small arrow to the right of the SPLIT button, which will now be a PLACE button. Make your selection from the menu that appears. Or drag the clip to the timeline.
  13. Mask the sides, then add a border effect and make it any color you choose. Software without bugs? Surely, you jest.
  14. Move? Using the POSITION effect? Tested two 35% scaled images, both at the end of the sequence and as single and stacked overlays, with BACKGROUND turned on. Couldn't duplicate your results. Are you running 4.30? If not you might want to try it.
  15. Don't spot a way to do that. Perhaps "apply to all" can be added - similar to the video transition option. Also, being able to drag the audio-level line on the sequence itself (without opening an edit window) would be handy.
  16. Under the OPTIONS|EXPORT tab is "fade out audio..." checked? If the last shot is being faded to black, and that shot has no pad at its end, then it seems conceivable that video may freeze during the fade?? Try moving the fade earlier.
  17. Easily done in WAVEpad. Then import the result into Videopad. Or use Videopad's HIGH PASS audio effect to achieve much the same result.
  18. Some improvement might be made. Check into the WAVEpad forum. A trial version can be downloaded here. Then import the result back into Videopad.
  19. Try a reinstall of this English language version.
  20. It's best to start a new thread, rather than tack onto one that's seven months old. But now that we're here... UNlink audio, if necessary, by right-clicking the audio clips and clicking on UNLINK. Select (highlight) all contiguous audio clips that are to be moved. Place the pointer on the audio track, left-click and hold while dragging left or right... The popup can be used to choose the precise offset desired. When on target let go of the mouse button.
