  1. You tried a right-click on the file in the media bin? Then click ROTATE. When that's done here, the rotation remains unchanged after being saved and retrieved (.vpj file), and after exporting (producing).
  2. Click on the tabs - upper-left: SEQUENCE, VIDEO, AUDIO, etc.
  3. Right-click the clip in the sequence, then click "change clip speed." Alternatively, click the VIDEO CLIPS button on the toolbar and then the "change clip speed" choice.

    Audio track 2

If I understand you, yes. This would apply only to adding audio on a separate track If instead audio is overlapped on the same track as existing A/V, then that A/V will move to accommodate it, as "c-major" notes. Here, there's a track one, both audio and video. Adding music (as track 2), whether it is dropped at the head of the A/V sequence or somewhere within, does not affect track one. This is the case whether A/V tracks 1 are linked or unlinked. Dropping an additional audio onto track 2 also does not affect track one. Version 4.10.
  5. What are the specs of your PC? GPU, CPU, memory, etc. Did you test different export formats? Is the audio Mp3? If so, try converting it to WAV, then export (produce) and see if results change. 6. This is good. 5.33 does what I need, and as an update would necessitate further payment to license I likely won't go that route, but now I know how to reset the counter. Appreciate the time you took to look into it.
  7. Free, with some features limited. Download from http://www.nchsoftwa...ad/vppsetup.exe Test it.
  8. See the response to your other related query. Any sequence can be EXPORTED (produced) to a file, which can then be ADDED (imported) into VP.
  9. Click the + sign to the right of the word "sequence" just above the timeline - at the left. That opens a new, blank sequence 2. In the media window, click your clip and then in the preview window make your cuts, drop them onto the timeline (green downward arrow) and add the desired effect. Toggle back to sequence 1 on the timeline. Just above the media window, click "sequences" to see them both. Drag sequence 2 to the timeline in sequence one, which will add it to the existing video. Note: The sequence thumbnail in the media list may not accurately reflect the effect, but it will be okay when played.
  10. Take another approach... Click the audio sequence, to display it in preview. Then click on the blue line to create keyframes. Drag the line up/down as needed. You will see a representation of this on the audio track. Keyframes cannot be manipulated on the audio timeline, but that's a wish suggestion for future releases.
  11. Please upload one of the files to DROPBOX, Google DRIVE, ONE DRIVE or the like and link it here, for testing.
  12. Load a file Select a region Right-click|SELECT SAVE REGION AS File name is "Cradle-region-097.mp3" Note the "097" which is where it left off at the last session If "001" is typed in instead it will save as "001" but the next region save will increment to "098" Thanks Alex (Using licensed version 5.33)
  13. The SAVE REGION feature automatically inputs the file name with numbers that incrementally increase... XXXXsave_region87.wav, XXXXsave_region88.wav and so forth. How can that counter be reset to zero? Changing file name doesn't do it - next time it continues incrementing from where IT left off, not from the number the user specified.
  14. New feature - mainly good. But there should be a "disable" toggle, which I believe "c_major" hinted might be forthcoming.
  15. Seems to be the case. If the effect is added to the MEDIA clip, there's no need to switch to Sequence after the "change file." (The media clip itself displays the effect.) If the effect is added to the SEQUENCE clip, here - after using "change file" - I must click "sequence" above the preview window, drag the scrubber (red line) or click in the timeline to switch PV back to sequence mode.
  16. Nope, that's accurate. But when the image in the bin is right-clicked here, preview switches to CLIP mode, and so it remains after changing the file. The effects are not seen on the replacement image until SEQUENCE MODE is clicked above the window, or the sequence itself is clicked.
  17. Slick, C... Click on the SEQUENCE to see the effects applied to the newly changed file.
  18. Drop in on the WavePad forum and ask there.
  19. One method.... FILE|SAVE AS your project as a .vpj file. In Windows file manager rename the old file. Choose your new file and place it in exactly the same Windows folder as the old, with the original name of the old file.
  20. Select multiple clips Click the VIDEO EFFECTS icon in the toolbar Click APPLY TO ALL But, unfortunately, the settings for the effects aren't available with this method. (Soon) In the interim, follow the procedures indicated in earlier posts to this thread and apply those settings to subsequent individual clips.

  23. Easily done with NCH Wavepad. In VP right-click an audio clip on the timeline and save it as an audio file. Open that file in Wavepad and do your thing. Back in VP, right-click the clip and UNLINK (if necessary), CUT the unwanted audio clip, use ADD FILE to import the corrected clip to the media area and then drop it into the hole on the timeline. If you need to tweak the entire production, EXPORT it as a video file. Right-click that file and one menu choice should be EDIT WITH WAVEPAD. Or use OPEN WITH to direct the file to Wavepad. If specific audio clips are needed, select them and press <ctrl-C>. Open a new sequence. Press <ctrl-V>. As above, save as an audio file or export as a video file. Process with Wavepad.
  24. Yes, there is a learning curve. Perhaps VP has more "bells" than your earlier editor. Developers must be cautious so added features don't cause the program to become too complex for its targeted market. Your effect is essentially picture-in-picture. But because it employs a transparent png for the higher track (the overlay), the lower track (the background) will show through in the transparent area. Use a search engine for "Videopad picture-in-picture." Several tutorials and how-to texts will pop up. As for positioning, select the png track and then click on VIDEO EFFECTS. Among the many choices is POSITION. Click on it. In the preview window, drag the png image to where you want it. Setting KEYFRAMES (animating) is more complex, allowing infinite variations of position, scale, etc. as the timeline progresses. These tutorials may help... http://www.nchsoftwa...tml?ref=nchblog http://help.nchsoftw..._animating.html
