  1. After making the appropriate project backup, try FILE menu|IMPORT CLIPS FROM ANOTHER PROJECT. That succeeded here in importing not only the clips but the sequences from the other project. Thereafter, a new sequence could be created and existing sequences copied to it.
  2. It appears that your file differs from Rowerfal's in some manner. Put your project up on a server and link it here and someone may analyze it for you. Use the FILE menu SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT and zip it if necessary.
  3. Sequence 4 showed up as the far-right tab above the timeline, and was empty. Why it was there, and labelled #4, is unknown. Glad things worked out for you.
  4. That's how. In the media window delete the yellow FULL FILM folder. Above the timeline click on SEQUENCE 4. (You can right-click this tab and rename it "full film" if you wish.) In the media window, right-click on each sequence (except #4) in the order you want them, and "place on timeline." Each will show a green check mark. Click EXPORT|VIDEO, chose your Mp4 resolution/format. Tested successfully here as an .flv (YouTube) and a number of Mp4 video files.
  5. Seems that only the VPJ (data) file is on the server. In VP use the FILE menu to save as a portable project, then upload the folder. If it's large, zip it first.
  6. What happens when, instead of using VP's YouTube uploader, you create an Mp4 and upload it directly? For someone to take a look at your project, please click the FILE menu and upload the project to a server - DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc. Post a public link here.
  7. The Mp4 video was created from the project files that you uploaded: two clips and the.VPJ data file. Starting with a clean slate, try this approach... Apply effects to the master clip until it is scaled, rotated, cropped, etc. just as you want it. Crop out any random pulses at the top of the raster. This is sequence #1. Then click the + sign on the tab above the timeline to create a new sequence. The timeline will be cleared. Up in the media area click the SEQUENCE tab and load sequence #1 onto the timeline. Now make your cut/s, and then export this completed sequence #2.
  8. There are two clips in your project. Though you state that they were from a single source they appear to have been processed slightly differently: clip one has pulses at the top of the raster that may have confused the uploader. This downloadable test was at 1280 x 720, 29.97 fps with default encoding. No sizing difference. Try uploading it to YouTube and see if the problem recurs.
  9. Click the FILE menu and upload the project to a server - DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc. Post a public link here please, and someone will have a look. Hints at a resolution change between clips.
  10. Did WMP play the one that I linked above?
  11. Reconstructed your project in the menu order shown. Played in VP, there are several audio glitches. Times are approximate... Music cuts off sharply at 10:12 (with long pause prior to violin) and at 57:03 Music cuts in sharply at 14:30, 41:06 and 1:32:44 The audio source files, reviewed briefly, appeared to contain these anomalies. Outputted the project to video at 320 x 240 resolution as an ISO image (which can be used to create a DVD). When this was reviewed in Media Player Classic/HC it sounded the same as when played in VP. There are pauses between some segments/selections but no doubt that is intentional.
  12. Are you pasting text from a word processing file? Test saving with different text encodings, then copy/paste and see if that changes things.
  13. Exported your AVI to an MP4 1920 x 1080p using the default encoding settings, but with the Constant Frame Rate box checked. No freezes. Try that. File size was near twice the size of your Mp4. Here is that file. No such luck using several other resolutions, frame rates and settings: freezes. The original file displayed no video when opened with several other media players. The same occurred in another editing program, with this error message. This hints that VP may be the more forgiving of an apparently non-standard file.
  14. If possible, use the FILE menu to Save a Portable Project. Upload that folder to a server - DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc. - and link it here. Someone will check it out.
  15. Loaded your video into VP, clicked EXPORT|VIDEO FILE, checked the Constant frame rate box and set the output at YouTube 1080p. Took about a minute to process. The result played fine in Windows Media Player. Nice piloting! Here's the file, for download. See if IT does the job.
  16. In the Choose Disc Settings window, click the ADVANCED button and set a different audio bit rate. Try 128 or 160. Report back here on your results.
  17. Using Media Player Classic/HC, reviewed the ISO and the DVD made from that ISO between 4:45 and 6:30 and could spot no freeze. Also loaded the VIDEO_TS file into a video editor and viewed second-by-second with the same result. However there does appear to be a missing frame at about 6:19 - very minor - which caused a slight jump in motion.
  18. If c_major's suggestion didn't do the job, please upload the file to a server - Dropbox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc. - and link it here. Someone will check it.
