  1. Odd. Use this tool to remove all traces of Videopad, if it gives that option. Then reinstall the latest version. Any luck?
  2. Does clearing the CACHE help or hinder?
  3. Three things to try... In OPTIONS, under the EDITING tab, toggle the "use hardware-accelerated video effects" checkbox to the opposite choice. Right-click in the preview window, click CHANGE PREVIEW SETTINGS and choose a lower resolution. Install the latest VP version.
  4. "Video unavailable." What export resolution did you select. There are many choices ... some suitable for YouTube.
  5. Specifying 4:3 across the board, the image appears to fill the entire frame when viewed as an exported Mp4 file.
  6. In the media bin, right-click the clip, click ASPECT RATIO and choose 4 X 3. The result here exports just as displayed in the preview window - if a 4:3 resolution is specified. If "auto-detect" is chosen for the export resolution, then click RESIZE at the prompt.
  7. Post to the PhotoStage forum and answers may be forthcoming.
  8. How much free space is available on your C:\ drive? What resolution and format is being exported? If this is a small project please click FILE|EXPORT AS PORTABLE PROJECT and upload the result to Dropbox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like, and link it here. Someone will try to duplicate your problem. For other ideas from earlier threads, type "failed" into the search box at the top-right corner of this forum.
  9. Don't recall seeing this behavior described. Upgrade to the latest VP version, if not already in use. Also, press the CLEAR UNUSED CACHE FILES button that's in OPTIONS, under the Disc tab. If no joy, please click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT and upload to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like and link here. Zip the file, as the production is lengthy.
  10. There are many export options, but few will be enabled in the free/trial version after 30 days. That said, when clicking EXPORT|VIDEO you should be presented with a number of formats... Leave the defaults for that format as is, and proceed with the export/download. Does that succeed?
  11. There's no Mp4/H264 limitation here in WMP, which hints at the need for the necessary codec on your system. Tools exist to find the specific codec, but folks have had luck with a codec pack - perhaps overkill, with slight potential for codec conflicts, but generally effective. Suggest that you install the well thought of, widely used K-Lite basic codec pack. Click on the 'Mirror 1 or 2' links only. Or simply play the file with VLC or MPC-HC. Both players handle most every format, and are free.
  12. That version is listed on the NCH site as free, so to enable more export options it looks as if a purchase will be necessary.
  13. Definitely seen in the final. But in order to recreate it use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT and upload that to the server, to link here. Zip it if it's large. The VPJ file will be included.
  14. What is the length of the production, and what's its format? Are you running the latest version of Videopad?
  15. WMP won't play an Mp4 with H264 decoding exported with standard defaults? Upload the file to a server and link it here. Someone will test it.
  16. Some things to try... Clear unused cache files, under OPTIONS|DISK menu. Update to the latest version, if that's not what's already in use. Upload your project, so someone can check it out, per earlier posts to this thread.
  17. Nat's comments to this thread may be helpful.
  18. To rule out CACHE corruption, open OPTIONS then click the DISK tab. Click the "clear unused cache files" button. Report back on whether that helped.
  19. Look to the left of the audio track/s to confirm whether they have been either muted. In the same area, to the left of the audio track that you can hear, did SOLO accidentally get clicked? That would mute the other tracks. If no joy, please click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT and upload the file that results to a server, such as MS OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. and link it here. Someone will check it out.
  20. Are you using the latest version? In the search box for this forum, type "fail." Many posts discuss a similar problem. 8 hours hints that it's large. But, if feasible, use FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT, then zip it and upload to DropBox, MS OneDrive, Google Drive or the like. Someone may test it. What format faiils?

Can't say. Glad it worked for you.
  22. This download is listed as the latest Windows 'free' version, but it too may disable WMV export. Check it out.

Exported your project at 1280 X 720 Mp4 from the latest Windows VP version and could spot no problem.

Did you mean Mp4 video? Please upload your project to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like and link it here. Someone will take a look. In Videopad, click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT, then uplink the file that results. If there are many clips, zip the file.
