  1. Your clips are first brought into the bin area (top-left), where there are tabs for the various types: video, audio, images. Then clips can be dragged, right-clicked and placed or otherwise copied to the timeline. The originals in the bin won't be affected unless you have flipped or added effects to those that are in the bin area.. On the timeline is where editing normally takes place. Once you have flipped a clip, it will remain in that state for export to a file, YouTube, DVD, etc. What is on the timeline (the sequence) is what gets exported, or published. Higher tracks on the timeline take video precedence over lower tracks. So text (added to track 2, for example) will be seen superimposed over track one. Check out http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23872-videopad-tutorials/
  2. Precisely what enhancements are you using? Damaged in what way? Upload your project and someone will take a look. Here's how. Be sure to share the link, and then post it here.
  3. Just to review the procedure... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=go9UUQu3B84 In lieu of uploading from Videopad, export in a YouTube compatible video format and use their resources to publish it to the desired channel.
  4. Jimmy, You have hit upon related issues that need attention. The upper-left menu has three states: FILE (green) - with a menu bar. HAMBURGER menu with drop-down choices. HAMBURGER menu with the word "menu" and drop-down choices. Shortcut keys such as <ctrl-O>, for example, are dysfunctional in any of these UI flavors. They sound a bell. Further, as with other NCH products, the <alt> key is used to invoke the hamburger drop-down menu. No problem - except when <alt> is employed to avoid timeline clip snap-back. Having to close the unwanted drop-down box is an annoyance. When the green FILE menu is apparent (no hamburger) <alt> does not invoke a drop down. There should be an anti-snap button on the interface, as there was in version 6.20. Repeatedly installing the program eventually produces the green FILE UI, no hamburger. But it may revert spontaneously. As for EXPORT ALL, it was tested on two sequences, each containing a single clip, in both FILE and hamburger/"menu" layouts. It was always active and functional here. Until the <alt> issue is addressed, IMO this is the best layout for Videopad...
  5. That's a valid approach. Twice tested two short adjacent clips on a Windows platform here. For the first a zoom was applied to the second clip, then a 125% speed change. For the second test it was speed first/zoom last, with a 150% speed increase. Each exported with both effects intact. Upload your project for additional tests.
  6. Please share your project, so someone can test it. With the project on the timeline and no speed change applied to clip #2, upload it per these instructions. Paste your shared link into a post here.
  7. Can't say. Perhaps a developer will chime in here, or future release notes may provide info.
  8. You might put the query to NCH tech support. If you have no contract, you still may receive a response by clicking the form's final screen several times. This thread and this one may also provide some insight.
  9. Redundant. That is the way the animation editor works.
  10. Try it this way. 1. Import two clips 2.. Drop clip 1 onto track 1. This creates sequence 1. 2. Above the timeline click the + sign that's to the right of the sequence 1 tab, to create blank sequence 2. 3. Drop clip 2 onto track 1 of sequence 2. 4. Click FILE|EXPORT ALL SEQUENCES and follow the prompts. There is no clapperboard in the sequence tab's bin/ There's no need to select a timeline sequence tab. In the video, that was done simply to verify the video in each sequence.
  11. After clicking the small green + to create the initial keyframe, moving the mask automatically creates those that are farther along the timeline. No need to click the +.
  12. Manipulated the mask shape in both normal and full-screen preview mode here. Never saw jumps - only smooth movement?? v7.0.
  13. With the video on the timeline, click on FX to open effects. Then click the large green + sign at the top-left of that window. There are many choices that will 'enhance' video - experiment. Try the SHARPEN tool.
  14. Odd, Nat. Just tested it again in 7.0 with two sequences and it works just as described in the earlier thread.
  15. Appears to be the case. Using the current VP version, created a BluRay ISO, specifying 25fps, interlaced. No matter what setting is chosen, the result appears to be the same. A bug report has been submitted.
  16. Restart Videopad. If you cannot close it, try this... Press the <ctrl-shift-esc> keys simultaneously to bring up the task manager. Click the PROCESSES tab and then scroll the list at the left, using the scroll bar at the right, until Videopad is seen. Right-click on it and END TASK. Restart VP. Remember to back up your work periodically with an incremental name, so as not to overwrite earlier backups.

    Bad exports?

Try this version and report your results. Retain any install file that you may already own.
  18. My observation, at least on this system, is that exporting is not affected by the "hardware acceleration" setting. A 13-minute project was tested both ways at 1920x1080 mp4. ON or OFF - export timing was identical. Perhaps a NCH developer will weigh in with definitive info on how this has been engineered.
  19. You checked out the Virtual Dub denoise filter? One source ... https://www.freewarefiles.com/VirtualDub-MSU-Denoising-Filter-Noise-Removal_program_18779.html VP allegedly supports these plugins.
  20. Under AUDIO EFFECTS there's a noise removal icon. Is that what you have in mind?
  21. Should be fixed. Please give it a test and report your results. Save any registered/licensed install file from prior versions.
  22. Humm... perhaps a codec (missing on the new box) was downloaded?
  23. Please upload and share the HD test that you referred to. See "Tips for getting help..." for instructions.
  24. Please use this form to send a message: https://www.nch.com.au/support/regcontact.html Or try CHAT support. From an NCH FAQ... "Can I upgrade from a previous version? What is the upgrade policy? All minor upgrades and bug fixes and some major upgrades are available free. Simply install the new file over the old file. If we introduce major new features or change the registration system, we may require users to purchase an upgrade. We guarantee free upgrades for 6 months from date of purchase but in practice we often allow upgrades up to 12 months. If in doubt back up your old version and just try the new version. If you purchased more than 12 months ago, you will need purchase an upgrade to the current version."
  25. As you may have already noted in related thread, the developers have spotted the problem and it should be no more in an upcoming version - shortly.
