So for quite some time I've been using VideoPad, I love it for its easy to use features to create a video compared to another program which I don't use much. I'm still using an older version of VideoPad which has worked well for me (4.00). On my old laptop, it ran fairly well with only getting slow downs and "building preview" when projects got pretty big. When I my laptop fried this year I decided to get a new PC, something more powerful. When I reinstalled my 4.00 copy of VideoPad, I opened up a project I had been working on for a few months and I noticed that it ran slow. I was gettin

Hello, I have started a new video project. I have recorded the videos on an iPhone 11, 4K at 30 frames per second. Video pad is struggling with these media files. They take a long time to load, any changes stalls the computer. They don't load & sometimes crashes. It shouldn't be anything that would stall the software, the video files are 873 MB QuickTime Movie (.MOV) & go for a max 5-6 mins time. I have to begin to use the iphone 11 4K on these video files so would really appreciate some help as it's urgent. I have uploaded the latest version, checked my free space on the com

First off, let me start by saying I love the simplicity of VideoPad. However, I am starting to get agitated by how long it takes to buffer and edit videos. I am trying to put a 5 minute clip together on my computer and it takes over an hour because working in the sequence every time I move to a different spot it takes a minute or more to buffer. I have 400mps internet, an i9 processor, 32 GB RAM. It can't be my setup. Is there a way to speed this process up? I get that when I am on a video clip that is 3+ hours of footage it will take a little to buffer from spot to spot, but why on Eart

Just updated to 7.25 After years struggling with the slow on every part, I thought latest version would be a nice way out. And I found out that it is not, adding ONE item in new invoice still takes minutes [by browser - I use chrome]. This is truly a total disappointment. Just burn out my $79.99 :D

I have an problem with the newer Versions of Videopad. Since version 6.26 Videopad use just about 30-40 prozent of my CPU by the export. The consequence is that the export of the video takes 3 times longer than in version 6.26, because in version 6.26 Videopad use almost the whole CPU (ca. 95%) By all versions over 6.26 (6.28, 6.29, 6.30, 6.31, 6.32 und 7.00) is the export thus slow. My export settings are: Youtube 1080P, lossles Export, H264: 8000kbps, Audio: 320kbps, Constant 30fps and my CPU is the AMD Ryzen 5 2400G. Operating System: Windows 10 PRO. All the files are on an SSD. EDIT:

On my PC which has fairly close specs to my laptop I just purchased (HP Envy x360 I7) it's extremely frustrating to try to edit anything in videopad with how bad the preview is. I've done barely anything, to a 20 second clip, yet every time I try to watch it in the editor it says "Building Preview Please Wait". Does anyone struggle with this? I literally can't even tell how the video looks because every time I get to a part that's slightly edited it freezes or the music gets way off sync, or sometimes it even plays random footage that has been deleted already. Never had this trouble with the e

Running version 5.05 on Mac. I have 3,00 invoices and 3,300 items. When editing an invoice, I hit "Add Item" and the system lags for about 30 seconds when I select the quantity field.

Hi I have the latest version of Videopad installed and have a brand new PC: Top spec I7 8700K, 16GB RAM, 3GB GTX 1060 dedicated graphics card, Samsung EVO SSD. I bought this spec so I could specifically edit videos. Creating videos is very difficult. I use 4k clips recorded from my phone (mp4) and high resolution photos (20MP from a Sony RX100 camera) Once the video is approx 2-3 mins long everything grinds to a halt. "Building preview", sound playing but video frozen, sequence preview grayed out so only clip preview works (after waiting for it to build the preview) I have en

I've been making more reaction videos to Red vs Blue season 15 recently, but screen capture software doesn't do so well on my PC, so I typically wait for the episode to release on YouTube, then just download the file, insert it and make sure it's in sync. I've usually already made all of my edits and rendered my actual reaction by the time the episodes release for the public on Sunday, so literally all I have to do is add another video track and lower the volume. But at times, it's taken up to 10 hours to render a 15 minute long video. I usually export with the 1080p preset, so in MP4 format a

I generating my most recent video using V5.01 (and tried out the "censored" filter whilst I was at it, pity you cannot move and resize the block on screen rather than via the sliders, a future enhancement perhaps?). I was disappointed that despite your previous response to my post about slow exporting, this version did not use all available CPU on my i5 quad core machine. It seemed to render in more-or-less real-time (35-minute video took roughly 35m to render, and the CPU varied between 30% - 70%). I don't understand why the export rendering process cannot be made more CPU intensive
