  1. ADD FILE was used to add a file to the media bin, where it appears under the "audio" tab. Then that file was dragged onto the audio track, just below the video. Another way to accomplish this is to right click on the audio file and "place clip on sequence."
  2. You might create an image file, to use as the source for the burn at a later time. Click the small chevron that at the right edge of the "burner" text field.
  3. AVI is a container (wrapper) for various encodings. Test different encoding options when exporting from VP. It may also be possible to load an appropriate codec for After Effects usage, in order to play your original AVI. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_Video_Interleave
  4. Strange indeed. After initial IN-sync test, later results duplicated Nat's and calfoncalf's findings, though audio was delayed by only a quarter-second here.
  5. Be sure that the narration track hasn't inadvertently been moved prior to export.
  6. Odd. Download the free Revo uninstaller to completely purge your PC of Videopad. Then install the latest VP version.
  7. Sorry to hear that. The box in the illustration above appears when you quote/reply to a post. I see it now. If it doesn't appear, click the MORE REPLY OPTIONS button at the bottom-right of the compose window. Then simply click the button indicated in the illustration and insert a URL - a link - to the image that you uploaded to Dropbox, MS OneDrive, Google DRIVE or the like. Just like the following, which again shows the bar that you should be seeing, and the button to click to post your image/s here... Folks will be glad to help you.
  8. A 'sticky' is a post that doesn't expire. It's listed as PINNED. Find them at the top of the forum. In this case the tip will tell you how to include images here. Here's an extract... Please include VideoPad version in your post. Post screenshots: Screenshots can often help describe the problem better. To insert an image here first upload it to Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, etc. and copy the URL. Then click the IMAGE icon in the toolbar (above the VP forum compose window) and paste that URL. <Enter> Share your project files: The best way to help developers diagnostic the problem is sharing your project files. We can exterminate the project file(.VPJ) without the media files. However we might also need the media files if the problem appear to lies in them. To share files you need to upload the files to Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, etc.. To protect your privacy you can use PM (Personal Messenger) to send the link to an Admin or Support forum ID.
  9. Check out the 'sticky' post at the head of this forum titled "Tips for getting help..." It details the procedure.

    H.264 vs MPEG4?

Try Mp4. Click ENCODER and move the H264 "quality" slider to the right, which will decrease file size as well, of course. Also test the same with MKV, AVI, and choose the MPEG4 codec.
  11. Click on "FX" at the bottom-left of a clip on a track, to open the effects window. Click the green + sign and choose SCALE. Or select a clip on the track and click the small arrow to the right of VIDEO EFFECTS icon in the menu bar. Then either drag the handles of the image in the preview window, or move the sliders in the effect window. Note the check box, to maintain aspect ratio..
  12. You might check in with the Wavepad forum.
  13. You could open the file with Wavepad. Then split the channels, edit, save and drop each onto an individual track in Videopad. I would think that the resultant mix would be stereo, but haven't tested it.
  14. Upload the errant clip to OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. and share the URL here. Someone will try to duplicate your results.

    Can't export

    Did you see this thread?
  16. Yet it does. Right-click the audio track on the timeline and SAVE AUDIO CLIP AS NEW FILE. It will appear in the media list as well as in the download folder as a .wav.
  17. Tested in the latest version and working fine on both stills and videos.
  18. Do you have adequate unused disk space? In Windows file manager right-click the C: drive and click PROPERTIES|DISK CLEANUP. You might also clear the Videopad cache, to ensure there's no corruption. OPTIONS|DISK tab. Are you running the latest VP version. To find exact split points, which should help avoid leftover snippets, click the GO TO EDGE icons ||< and >|| . They're below the preview screen.
  19. You cannot ramp it up, but you can split a clip into several pieces and set different speeds on each part.
  20. No sound when playing the file from the media area (upper-left)? Or is there no sound only when playing from the timeline? If the latter, check that the MUTE button (at the left of the timeline) isn't active. You say that mp4 plays okay? MKV is a container for various file tormats. A codec may be missing. Try converting an MKV file to another format prior to loading into Videopad. Try reinstalling the latest Videopad version.
  21. Check out this thread. How much free space on the hard disc? How much RAM in your system?
  22. What's the result if, in lieu of Videopad's upload feature, you instead use YouTube itself to upload a file that meets their specs? Also check out this thread.
  23. Original image - jpg Snapshot in Videopad - png Video - mp4
  24. Hummm. Not here. Windows 4.48 does precisely what Nat describes.
