  1. Please share the project. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material you can link it in a personal message (PM) to me, via the envelope above. Be sure to FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS, not simply SAVE PROJECT.
  2. Odd. Share the project please. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If the material is sensitive you can send a personal message (PM) to me, via the envelope in the upper-right corner of this page.
  3. The above test was just a screen grab. Upload a few of your source photos and link them here. Someone will check them out with P&Z. Did you create the effect in 7.25 ... or simply load a project that had been made in 7.02? If that was the case, try recreating the effect in 7.25.
  4. Ran a portion of your 7.02 output through 7.25 Pan and Zoom once again. Resolution is down, but the jerkiness isn't evident. Tests with other images - of various resolutions and aspects - showed what may be very subtle differences between 7.25 and 7.02. Hard to tell. What are your PC's specs?

  6. On the sequence, using standard Windows methods, select (highlight) the pics to be changed, then right-click|CHANGE DURATION in the box under the preview window. <ctrl-A> selects all. Holding down <ctrl> selects independent clips. Selecting the first, then holding down <shift> while clicking the last will select all in the range.
  7. 'Tis so. Takes a little time, but reducing large, HD or 4K files to low-res proxies can make editing 'fly' - comparatively. Good luck!
  8. A couple of things to consider... Upgrade the PC. Video editing is resource intensive, as you no doubt know. If working with large files, test out the Proxy Edit method. This can smooth the editing experience significantly and is often employed by high-end editors.
  9. When you state "prevent issues" - what issues, specifically? Choosing MATCH CONTENT may be better for your purposes, to track sources. And though they aren't resolution, per say, note the new effects Aspect Ratio options. To revert, simply install your older version and register if necessary. It doesn't expire. The installer is normally saved in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad" If it's missing, get it here.
  10. Make a clip out of the five-second segment by placing a SPLIT at its start and end. Then click the FX button in that clip to open the effects window. Increase saturation.
  11. PNG, yes. PSG, see https://filext.com/file-extension/PSG
  12. EXPORT applies only to the clips on the current sequence, which display all the tracks in the project...and in most cases that's sufficient. If, however, there are several completed sequences that make up the complete video, follow this method... 1. Open a new, blank sequence by clicking the + that's to the right of the sequence tabs above the timeline. 2. In the bin (top-left of the window), click the SEQUENCES tab. All sequences will be listed. 3. Drop those sequences onto the blank sequence, then export that sequence. In this example sequences 1, 2, 3 would be added to a new sequence 4.
  13. In the latest versions PV resolution is based on your monitor. There is an aspect ratio option, available via the right-click menu.
  14. Very easily done. SPLIT at the desired end of the footage. Right-click in the split-out area and DELETE or DELETE (ripple). If a black hole is left, right-click and CLOSE GAP.
  15. Unable to duplicate your results on a still image, Nat. Loaded a :10 slide into VP 7.25 and exported as a DVD - first with a menu. Tested different still, this time with no menu. Listened to both the DVD playback and the VTS_01_1.VOB in HPC-HC media player. Totally silent. However, when an Mp4 whose audio had been removed was burned with menu to a Movie ISO, six distinct blips were heard at the head.
  16. Word has it that this will be fixed in the next release.😊
  17. Lossless export specifics are listed here. If the project doesn't meet those specs you're likely out of luck.
  18. Re-register the program by clicking FILE|RegisterVideopad. The latest version is here. https://www.nchsoftware.com/download/videopadlaunch.exe For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.
  19. Both files loaded and played fine in VP 7.25. If you have your installer file, open Control Panel|PROGRAMS AND FEATURES, right-click on the Videopad entry and uninstall it. Then reinstall. That may repair damaged components. Report your results here.
  20. Exported the download your provided at 1920 X 1080P to AVI, Mp4 and WEBM. All were successful in VP version 7.25. Also took several passes at the suggested 320 x 480 AVI settings. Again, a quick export with no problems. Same Windows 10 version running here. Open an empty Videopad instance, then clear Unused Cache Files, under OPTIONS|DISK menu. Load the project. Any better?
  21. As requested, if you upload the sound file someone will test it to confirm your findings and suggest a cure.
  22. As delivered with the project, the file is silent. Upload the raw file please. Is this the project that freezes?
  23. Share it. UPload to a free server, make the link public and post it here. Someone will check it out.
  24. VP handles Mp4 seamlessly in most cases. Your initial project, linked above, loads the Mp4 files with no video. Yes, you have a slide on the video track, but the video from the Mp4 files has somehow been removed. VP likely sees the missing AVC video as an open-ended track, and thus won't complete the export. Method 1. If those Mp4 files are instead loaded into a new VP instance, UNlinked from audio, then video is deleted and a slide placed on the video track, export quickly completes. Method 2. An alternative would be to prepare the audio in Wavepad, save as Mp3 and import to VP. Lock the audio track (lock icon at the left), then add/edit video. If you plan to use images from the three Mp4 files after isolating the audio track via one of those methods, first lock the audio track so it won't be disturbed. Then position the scrubber (red line) and right-click the file in the bin. OVERLAY AT CURSOR. Do this for each A/V clip that you import. Note that this will place the clip on the 2nd video and audio tracks. Simply mute the audio track (speaker icon at left). Now edit the video. In this case video track one can be deleted, but it's not necessary.
