  1. Same thing. In the resolution Preset drop-down box, a custom resolution can be configured. Perhaps that will save you a step.
  2. It's all there, both in preview and export. No singing, but piano on track 1 and clarinet on track 2. If you find that only the clarinet shot is seen in the export, add the Letterbox To Aspect Ratio effect to the clarinet video track. It's available in the Aspect Ratio Transforms area of the effects box. Update to this version. Be sure to Save Project Files AS first, so you don't lose anything.
  3. What version of VP is being used? Do send the project, per the instructions above. Not the export. Be sure to make it publicly accessible to anyone, especially if you use the Google Drive server.
  4. Try a different approach... Overlay two blank screens fashioned with your choice of color and extend them on the timeline to the length of the video. Then use the MOTION effect to scale and position each as vertical and horizontal lines respectively, to sit atop the video. Add the BORDER effect if desired.
  5. What version of Videopad is being used? Try this one. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If no change, please post again.
  6. Clips in the bins (top-left) can be used multiple times and trimmed on the timeline. Drag them to the timeline at the desired spot or right-click the bin clip and use one of the PLACE choices. If a trimmed clip on the timeline is dragged back to the bin it will be saved with the trim intact and given an incremental # (1, 2, etc) while not altering the original clip. Clips also can be trimmed in the bin, using the SET START and SET END buttons under preview. Then click the ADD button to drop them into the sequence at the cursor position. In that case, that bin clip will always retain the trim. Rename clips in the bin via a right-click.
  7. See if this answers your query. http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/31936-copy-title-from-one-sequence-to-another/?tab=comments#comment-85006
  8. File a suggestion. Click the chevron at the top-right of the VP window to see that choice, then fill out the form.
  9. Think not. The default export folder can be specified under OPTIONS | EXPORT, but that's not quite what you have in mind.
  10. The AVI sync issue is being worked on. Does fine as an mp4, but you have said that this format isn't available. Only two things come to mind... Purchase a license. Uninstall the current VP version via Control Panel | Programs and Features. Then download and install this version, as suggested earlier. It may (for a time) allow mp4 export. But in unlicensed tests of recent versions it has not.
  11. Install this version and all should be well.
  12. Hopefully, NCH will reply to your support request. If they do not within a few days please return here. As for YouTube, you might direct them to https://nchsoftware.blogspot.com/2013/07/royalty-free-music-library.html There's a disconnect here somewhere.
  13. If no response to the form from NCH within a reasonable time, check back in here. An NCH representative recently posted this... "We've licensed the sound library, and you're permitted to use the clips in YouTube videos." Purchase of the Masters (Pro) edition should enable that.
  14. According to the FAQs, the music in the library should be royalty free. Get in touch with the company with the above specifics. If no resolution, come back here. https://tinyurl.com/r89tpcw
  15. What version of Videopad is being used? Zoom works fine in this one. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. You're referring to ZOOM, not Pan and Zoom? Be sure to use the red X (when moused-over) in closing the effects box. If the grey X (to the right of the effect name) is used, it kills the effect. And no, there's no "apply" button. Once the effect is programmed, it's active.
  16. Absolutely. We'll take a look. Something is screwy... Upload the project, not the export. Here's how... 1. With your project on the timeline, click the 3-lined 'hamburger' menu, top-left. Click FILE | BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Specify a folder. Click SELECT FOLDER. 2. Using the PC file manager, go to where the numbered folder was saved and upload it to a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* 3. Get a shared, public, non-restricted link. 4. Paste that link here, or click the folder, above top-right in this forum, and message it to me. This is private and won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  17. Update to this version and see if the issue goes away. If not, come back here and we'll look into it. Keep in mind... For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  18. What version of Videopad is being used? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Switch to Storyboard mode and see if there are very short duration snippets or gaps in the timeline at cut points. Right-click on a gap and CLOSE GAP. If no change, let's see the project files. Not the export, but the project folder. Here's how to share it with a link to this forum, or privately. Follow these steps...
  19. Seeing only the main channel of subtitles here. So if two channels have been created, then exported as an MKV, only one may display. A report has been submitted. That said, if two SSA files have been created, then they can be loaded into a project and both will appear in the sequence. Audio can be split out and added independently as suggested above. If there are multiple audio channels, Videopad should prompt. No, you should not have to re-register. This has nothing to do with the audio issue. Suggest that you install the latest, if it's been less than six months since purchase. Retain your installer and license code. If this persists... https://www.nch.com.au/support/regcontact.html Please upload your file to a free server and submit a shared, public link that anyone can access. If it's not working correctly the developers will want to analyse it..
  20. Now that is very unusual. How long is the project? Share it and we'll take a look. The process is simple, takes but a few minutes and can be private. Don't upload the export, just the project file, per these steps...
  21. This is a known, reported issue. UNchecking the "keep pitch unchanged box" may fix it, but 108% pitch uncorrected speed applied globally to a lengthy project could result in unnatural voices. Changing speed on individual clips may be alternative. What export format is being used?
  22. Unfamiliarity can be at the root of the issue. If audio and video are linked, one will affect the other. If unlinked, then locking the 'other' track is often a simple solution. What version is being used, and please be specific on what you see; there's considerable difference between the 6, 7 and 8 versions. Share your project and someone will work with you to solve the issue. The is easy, takes little time and can be private. Don't upload the export, just the project folder.
  23. No expertise claimed on capture, but suggest that you test the different settings mentioned above. For the 'ghosting' issue, try a higher frame rate. Have you read this? http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win/content_capturingvideo.html Post again with your findings and check back from time to time. Someone more knowledgeable may drop by.
  24. What version of Videopad is being used? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Here's a somewhat dated thread that may be of use... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/25410-videos-with-multiple-audio-tracks/ And here is an audio extractor. It can split out the files for independent loading into VP. https://www.pazera-software.com/products/audio-extractor/ If no joy, please drop back here again. Upload your file to a free server and submit a shared, public link that anyone can access. We'll check out your file and hopefully find a fix.
  25. Indeed. Save Project Files AS regularly, with a unique # or name so as not to overwrite prior saves. Don't use Save Project (no AS) as that will overwrite. Then you're protected and can return to the project by opening the VPJ file, which is usually stored in the same folder as the source files. What version? Update if possible.
