  1. Not good. But in v10.56(32) your file, captured as an mp4, is fine. While that file was smooth, the original mpg4 was not. Specifics needed from Nate999. 10_56.mp4
  2. http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win/surroundsound.html https://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/32809-is-there-a-surround-sound-tutorial/ May be as close as you get.
  3. Genuine bugs are soon fixed. What version of VP is being used? Update to the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If the reverse issue persists, the very best way to solve it is to share your project. Someone will take a look and come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  4. Yet another approach is to use masking and transparency. Place duplicate video on tracks 1 and 2. Add 25-50% TRANSPARENCY effect to track 1. Add an effect mask (2nd icon from left on toolbar) to track 2. Choose the Circular preset and set the Radius (size). Add the TRANSPARENCY effect, set Opacity to zero and Feathering for most pleasing presentation. Uncheck the Mask inside box. Now plot the animation, setting the minimum amount of keyframes as needed. motion_track_mask.mp4
  5. Can be done manually, if a bit tedious. Grab a transparent circle image from the WEB. In this example, a black circle was made white by adding the Negative effect. Overlay the image on a higher track than the background. Use the Motion effect to scale it, then manually animate the motion, adding as few keyframes as necessary. http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win/effects_animating.html If you make a mistake immediately press <ctrl-Z> to backtrack, step-by-step. Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Motion_track.mp4
  6. As reported earlier, never could replicate the problem here. Upload the final project for inspection, if possible - not the export.
  7. Check out the Crescendo forum. And be aware that you are tacking onto a somewhat dated thread here. Note the date in each entry.
  8. Mouse-over, if you are referring to a highlighted selection...
  9. Your query was answered last month under a different ID in this thread.
  10. Confirmed that these are 32-bit plugins. Some 64-bit VD plugins, if they exist, may work with VP 64-bit releases.
  11. CROP has no 'preview effect' box; what you see in preview is what you get. The checkerboard area is transparent, so if the cropped image is overlaid above an image on another track, the lower track's image will be seen in the background. Check out the picture-in-picture effect.
  12. ZOOM instead. Or, after cropping, scale the image to full screen. Click the preview box to see what you will get.
  13. With the grid enabled, use the sliders instead of dragging preview window handles. It won't snap.

  15. That's the way it looks here. If you have a problem, let us know.
  16. Discard closes the project, without saving changes (if any). Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar.
  17. Can't replicate same here. Please upload the project - without the black blank clip - so the issue is evident. Here's a clip with two overlays, both cropped. All seems to be clean.
  18. That works. But why not simply drag the clip from the timeline to the bin? Effects will be retained. The clip will be removed from the timeline, but can be re-added where desired.
  19. New and better info... Turn off the preview grid window with this button on the toolbar... No snap. With the grid on, you can move the entire effect without a snap by dragging the crosshatch that appears when the pointer is in the PV window.
  20. Select the clips where the effect is to be removed. Click the FX button on one of those clips and delete the effect. If necessary, click the "replace chain" green button on the toolbar.
  21. That's up to the platform, not Videopad. For example: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/72431?hl=en
  22. You can turn down or mute the Videopad audio slider in Windows... Right-click the icon at the far right of the taskbar and Open Volume Mixer. Click the below the VP slider, to mute it. Later, when you want audio, click the icon again.
