May not help, but to place the cursor in the middle of a clip or the timeline divide the ending length by two, then input that number in the 'cursor' box. In this case that # is 18.404, to be typed into the same box <enter>. Cursor jumps to the center of the clip or timeline.

What version is being used? Use <shift-arrow> in the current 64-bit release to jump from clip to clip.

Using beta 10.75 (32-bit), 1080 export looks seamless - no missing clips or glitches noted. Suggest that you install the 64-bit current VP version.

The current beta release (as of this writing) appears to have fixed the jerky reverse issue, though Nate did not state whether that was his specific problem.

You can always test drive the latest 'pro' release without paying a dime though in time certain features will be disabled. It's a trial unless licensed. The free version has limitations but won't time out. In any case, retain your old installer and registration info. But, yes, the newer features likely won't solve this issue - just give you more to play with.

The Gradient Map effect is available in version 10.64 running here, but it may not appear in your version. As you note, it likely won't do what you want.

The image above utilized the Gradient Map in Videopad, which may be about the best one can do. Play with the effects. And drop by here again; someone else may have better ideas.

If you are referring to recent projects shown in the list that drops down when the chevron at the right of OPEN on the toolbar is clicked... Use Windows Explorer (the file manager) to rename the VPJ files. They can be reverted to the original names thereafter.

If you have captured in Debut and now have the file loaded into Videopad... Click the Sequences tab above the bin (top-left), then right-click the sequence and This will produce a Sequence1.WAV file in the PC MUSIC folder. Wavepad and numerous other apps can convert that to mp3. Debut specific info can be found on the Debut forum.
