  1. Odd. Thanks for the info. If purchased from NCH the version should have been at least 10.63, perhaps even 10.7x. Please paste the purchase link here, if still available.
  2. Interesting. 10.35 came out in April. From where was it purchased?
  3. Good to hear. Is this a licensed/registered version?
  4. Please install this version. Report back whether it still does it. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  5. Upload that screenshot and link it here, so others can see what you see. Confirm that the PC video driver and Direct-X are up to date... https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html
  6. If all clips are on the same track then preview will display only the clip where the scrubber (red line) has been placed. If clips are stacked on different tracks, one above the other, higher track/s take precedence. So, if an image on track 2 is small and the one on track 1 is large, then the track 1 image will be seen in the background. Picture-in-picture. http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win64bitpaid/tasks_watermarkspip.html Individual tracks can be hidden temporarily. Click the 'eye' If this doesn't describe what you are seeing, please upload a screenshot and link it here... Upload to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. 7. Hi, Don't know about Vista, but in Windows 10, click the notification icon (bottom-right of the screen | ALL SETTINGS and then type "speech" into the search box. Click on SPEECH. The available voices are shown as well as options to choose the default and to install additional speech packs. Here's what they contain... https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/appendix-a-supported-languages-and-voices-4486e345-7730-53da-fcfe-55cc64300f01 Anna seems to be missing. Perhaps Zira edged her out?
  8. In recent VP versions you may see these voice options... Here, Anna must be on holiday.😀
  9. If there is a blank area, right-click in it and CLOSE GAP. If clips are on track one, use Storyboard mode to easily spot small gaps.
  10. Check out the effects choices - filters and artistic...
  11. Odd, and never before reported. What file types are these clips? File types for video might be mp4, MOV, AVI, etc. Be sure that they are not VPJ files (which should not be possible). Those are Videopad control files that are not playable or viewable.
  12. Use ADD FILES (from the Home menu toolbar) to import audio files, images or videos. Previously exported VP projects are simply files, and they can be added as well. A right-click in an empty area of the bin will also offer the ADD FILES choice. Then drag those clips to the timeline where desired. Or use a right-click on a bin clip and choose one of the options... Place one file after the other, or go with the suggestions offered by Nat, above. There's been no change from version to version on how this works. Record_2021_08_31_13_54_48_850.mp4
  13. That issue is usually caused by a snippet of a clip or a gap between clips, and likely has nothing to do with A/R. Expand the timeline and look for an extra frame/clip between the desired clips. If they are on track one, switch to Storyboard mode where each clip is shown individually. Right-click on any unwanted gap and CLOSE GAP. Now try your crossfade once again.
  14. Someone with more expertise may chime in, but this strikes me as subjective: whatever looks best to you. Test several variations. ZOOM effect offers many preset aspect ratio choices, or you can plot your own. And upon export there are also A/R options. It's often best to go with the suggested setting. If you upload a few examples and link them here (or in private) we'll weigh in... Upload to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  15. A variety of aspect ratios can be applied. Right-click the clip for drop-down menu choices... If that fails to meet the need, try ZOOMing your image, to remove any blank/black area which would likely carry through to the export. Let us know if this succeeds.
  16. Install the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. On the toolbar, click the Video Maker button...
  17. Doesn't do that here. When files are ADDED from the PC, they appear in the appropriate bins. Click the bin tabs to see the clips stored under each category. New bins can be created via a right-click in an empty area of the bin window. Clips are categorized as Video Files, Audio Files, Images. When they are dragged to the timeline, one after another, they join up. Don't drag a clip directly on top of another, or it will replace the earlier clip. What version of Videopad is being used? Here's the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  18. As long as focus has been clicked to the Sequence, the arrows are working well here in several recent releases. CLIP Preview scroll is via the buttons only. Confirm that video driver and Direct-X are current. https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html Copies of bin clips can be made via a right-click on the clip | COPY. Then right-click in an open bin area and PASTE (CLIP) Ignoring the master clip, set individual IN and OUT points for each numbered copy and drop them to the timeline.
  19. New thread begun, as the original was over a year old. Install the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If the issue persists, let's have a look at the project. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  20. What program created the mp4? Update to the latest release ... or the latest within your six-month free licensing period. Look here. If that doesn't solve the problem, please share the file that has the issue. Someone will check it out. Upload the file to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  21. Tested successfully here. The quota for Videopad direct to YouTube uploads can be oversubscribed on occasion. Try it at off times. Or export the project as an mp4 and use YouTube's uploader. https://tinyurl.com/yf24qjyv
  22. Check out this thread. And visit the Debut forum.
  23. If the clip is on track 1, switch to Storyboard mode and verify that the clip is not followed by a snippet of another. Right-click on the track and CLOSE any GAP. Try programming a keyframed TRANSPARENCY effect on the clip... To track this down take a minute to share the project. Someone will help. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  24. Don't think 64-bit was offered in the 8.9x series. If memory serves, it became available somewhere around 10.x. 32-bit Videopad is fine for many projects.
  25. It's offered from time to time on the download pages. But this link should fetch it reliably.
