  1. Hi! If you mean changing the entire project tempo, you may change the project tempo by navigating to the Tempo field (please refer to the attached screenshot). If you want MixPad to analyze the tempo of your song, kindly select the audio by clicking the clip, then navigate to Clip > AutoBeat detection/beat match ... etc depending on what you need.

  4. Hi! It would be best to make sure that the selected device under WavePad > Preferences > Audio > Sound Play Device is the same device as the one chosen under MacOS > System Preferences > Output If the issue still occurs even after you've set these, you may open a support ticket through this link https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html if you need immediate and direct assistance.
  5. Hi @Minato009, in this case, it would be best if you could reach out to Apple support and ask for tech specs on how you can display audio files as part of one continuous book for the version of iBook you are using. Since iBook is a proprietary software by Apple, they are the ones who know the specs on how this can be done. If they give specific instructions, you may open a support ticket at through this link https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html so that we can assess if it can be done natively with WavePad.
  6. Hi @Orochimaru, what audio interface are you using to connect the microphone and instrument line to your computer? For further diagnosis, kindly send us a screenshot of your computer's system audio settings and the program’s audio settings, and the program’s software version you are currently running. If you are using any third-party hardware (ex. audio interface), kindly let us know which exact model it is as well. Please also send us the following information about your machine's hardware. Kindly give out the most details you can to the best of your ability. Processor: Boot/Storage Drive: Memory: *FOR EXAMPLE* Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-8500B (6 cores, 6 threads) Boot/Storage Drive: ex. 500 GB NVME SSD Memory: 32 GB DDR4 RAM Thank you for your cooperation. 7. It would depend on what plugin you installed, but generally they should be located on a similar directory such as "D: > Program Files > Steinberg > VstPlugins " If your plugins were placed on a different folder, you may also manually add those directories as by navigating to "WavePad > Tools > Options > VST > Add Path... > Navigate to where you've placed the plugins Once you've set the location, restart WavePad. Upon opening WavePad again, load an audio clip. Go to WavePad > Effects > Effects Chain > You should see the plugin there (assuming it's in a compatible VST in .dll format, double click to activate it.
  8. Hi! Could you send us a screenshot of your VideoPad/WavePad timeline when you import the 58 minute file? You may also upload a copy of the video file so that we can test this on our end. 9. Hi @Orochimaru, To create a custom ringtone using WavePad, kindly follow these steps: 1. Load the audio file/song you wish to use as a ringtone. Refer to "WavePad Ringtone - 1.png" 2. Once the audio file has been loaded in WavePad, choose the section which you want to use as a ringtone. 3. In this example, let's assume that the section I want to use as a ringtone is the one inside the orange box. Refer to "WavePad Ringtone - 2.png" 4. Grab/select all the other portions that is NOT meant to be included in the ringtone, delete those sections. (Refer to "WavePad Ringtone - 3.png" 5. You will be left with the portion you want to use for the ringtone. 6. Grab/select about 2 seconds from the start of the portion then navigate to WavePad > Effects > Fade In. (Refer to "WavePad Ringtone - 4.png) 7. Grab/select the last 2 seconds of the clip then navigate to WavePad > Effects > Fade Out (Refer to "WavePad Ringtone - 5.png") 8. Listen to your edited file. Once you are happy with the output, go to WavePad > File > Save File/Save File As > .MP3 9. Transfer the output file onto your phone. 10. Set the .mp3 file as your ringtone. Please note that the process may vary depending on the model of your phone.

    autotune or edit

Hi! Currently there is no direct way to quantize the pitch on WavePad. However, if you are running the Master's Edition, you may use compatible third-party plugins which enable surgical pitch adjustment.
  12. Hi @Brewerpaul, based on what you've described, you can easily do this by first selecting your desired key and time signature from the right menu bar. Upon clicking, simply hover your mouse to the start of the project/piece. Once you've set your desired time and key signature, you may choose from any of the note/rest values which can be found on the left tool bar, then place it on the staff, depending on the pitch you want. If you want to do triplets, place first the three eighth notes you want to form into a triplet. Once the three notes are in place, select the triplet button (still on the left toolbar) then click on the note you want to set as the first note in your triplet. You may refer to the attached screenshot.
  13. Hi @Tactics, there's a wide range of variables here. We'll do our best to help you specify and address your concerns. 1. How many individual files are there? Are these the ones you're having trouble with? 2. About those *.wpp files you mentioned which you will save as .wav files, are these files in any way connected to the formerly mentioned wav files which opens individually? 3. You mentioned you deleted the files inside the working folder, and then you went on to search those previously deleted files. This would depend on your computer settings, like how much you allow the recycle bin to hold. If the files you previously deleted are bigger than your recycle bin's capacity, it's most likely the reason why you can't find those files anymore. 4. If you are seeing a message when you open WavePad that promps to locate the old files you already deleted, it's most likely because WavePad is trying to automatically retrieve the associated files on your project. Simply create a new/blank project so that WavePad would quit looking for the recent project. You may open a support ticket through this link https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html if you need immediate and direct assistance.
  14. Hi @jakesinc54, open a support ticket through this link https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html as we will need to perform several steps to proceed with the troubleshooting. Thanks!
  15. Hi! Could you send a cloud storage link to a sample MP3 file with ID3V1 tags? This is so we can test this on our end. You may also open a support ticket through this link https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html if you need immediate and direct assistance.
  16. Hi, yes, you should fine bit depth/sample size settings under the same export prompt where you can choose the sample rate.
  17. Salut, je t'ai envoyé un message personnel. Merci.
  18. Hi, @ZEUBIEN FX-JAZZ RADIO, yes, you may use it provided that you run it on a computer that has the necessary software to do broadcasting. You may need to route Zulu's audio output settings accordingly in order for the audio signal to be supplied on your broadcast feed.

Hi @barryzell, For diagnostic purposes, kindly send us the following information about your machine's hardware. Kindly give out the most details you can to the best of your ability. 20. Hi @jjeffh, what you are doing is beautiful. You mentioned that you've come up with .wav files from the Tascam DR-40, which is a good device for recording. WAV audio format has been around and has been one of the industry standards in audio production/post-production for films, TV, radio, etc, and it seems that will be the case in the foreseeable future. As for your needs, if you'd like to make some edits to the recorded content, and/or break it down to shorter files/chapters, WavePad should help you do that. You may check it out through this link https://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html For archiving, it would be best to keep an original copy of those 85-hours worth of material into a secure drive, or perhaps a cloud storage service so that it will always be accessible.
  21. Hi, I tried to recreate this concern you encountered and from my end, everything worked as it should. A project which runs at 60 bpm in 4/4 time signature should have its second measure to commence right at around the four second mark. It shows in this screenshot (captured just right before the downbeat of the second bar) that measure 1's last beat ends just right at the downbeat of measure 2. In your case, it's possible that the cursor was not set at the actual beginning of the project.
  22. Hi, based on your description, it sounds like WavePad was set to be the default program to open such files. You should be able to change this by going to Windows > Settings > Apps > Default Apps. You may set your default apps as you please, or you may reset it by clicking the "Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults" button.
  23. Hi, in this case, it would be best to open a support ticket through NCH Software - Technical & Support Services . In the ticket you will open, kindly send us a sample "okay" file and a sample "erratic" file which seems to have a problem. You may use a cloud storage service (Google Drive/DropBox/WeTransfer/etc.) of your choice then please send us the transfer link so that we may be able to access the files. This is so we can test this on our end and check for possible fixes.
  24. Hi @Bronx68, in this case it would be best to open a support ticket through this link < https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html > so we can closely assist you with your concern.
