Just upgraded from version 5.x to 8.11 and converting FLAC to MP3 files. As per usual, was using the "Variable Bitrate Option" (VBR) and selecting 320 kbps. A partially successful conversion will happen - that is, FLAC to MP3. Unfortunately, the VBR outputs only as 128 kbps quality and not as 320 kbps as chosen. Anyone know what the problem is?? Is there a work-around or did I screw up somewhere?? I have been using this app for years without any issues.
