  1. With your video on the timeline, open EFFECTS (FX), scroll down and click on the Fisheye button. This, using the latest VP version.
  2. Three things to try... Export as a VIDEO FILE, instead of to Drive. Mp4 format at the auto-detected resolution might be good choice. Then, apart from Videopad, open Drive and upload your file. In Videopad, under OPTIONS|EDITING toggle the "accelerated hardware" choice to the other state, and see if that speeds up the export. When using Videopad, shut down background programs so the PC can concentrate on the task at hand. Video editing is resource intensive.
  3. Type "combine mp4 movie files" into a search engine. Your answer may lie there.
  4. There are a number of ways to accomplish that. Try applying pan and zoom effects independently. Then use the animation editor to set IN/OUT keyframes within the clip; no need for splits. In this example the action begins and ends with the first and last ZOOM and POSITION keyframes respectively. The result. Note the freeze at both beginning and end of this single clip. Positioning here was for illustration only.
  5. Thanks Chris; as I thought. Another device on the PC does input its audio without regard to the volume mixer. Too bad WP can't do the same.
  6. Split out the section of the clip where the pan/zoom is to be applied - in essence creating a new clip within the original clip. i.e.: Split where the effect is to begin and split where it will end. Select this new clip, then apply the effect.
  7. The unregistered version can be used on any computer. It has some limitations, but I believe it supports FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT - perhaps to a USB stick or external drive. That file can be loaded into VP elsewhere.
  8. CLEAR UNUSED CACHE FILES, under OPTIONS|DISK and see if that helps What version were you using? Setup files are often stored in this folder... "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad"
  9. Both input sources for WP - master volume and Windows mixer - are affected by the speaker volume control. Is there a way to instead input directly from the audio bus, ahead of that control?
  10. Do zip and upload the project if possible, so the developers can have a look at how it plays at their end. Search the forum for "building preview" to gain insight on this issue.
  11. You tested toggling HARDWARE ACCELERATION, under OPTIONS|EDITING? If there is a section of the project that consistently hangs you might split out and delete all the rest, then upload that section as a portable project, as mentioned above. Be sure to save your project first, of course.
  12. Video editing is resource intensive. What are your PC's specs: CPU, GPU, free space on the drive, memory? Close all other programs that might be running in the background. Lower the preview resolution (right-click in the preview window to see that option). Under the OPTIONS|EDITING menu, try toggling the HARDWARE ACCELERATION choice to its other state. Are you using the current version of Videopad? If not, give it a test. If your project is reasonably small, place it on the timeline and then click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload all the files that result to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. Or zip them and upload the zip file. Make the link public and post it here. Someone will check it out.
  13. Create line 1. Copy it <ctrl-c> Exit the title window Open new title window Space down a line (or more) Paste <ctrl-v> (for this demo) or type in text for second line Delete default title name above Close the title window Repeat as needed, spacing down a line (or more) each time This sets up the sequence in order. Seems to be a way to do the job, but indeed there may be a slight spacing difference between lines. Tough to measure. Result
  14. Simply right-click on the clip in the timeline and click REVERSE CLIP. Or, right-click on the clip, click CHANGE CLIP SPEED and check the PLAY CLIP IN REVERSE box.
  15. Humm... Instead of using VP's direct YouTube uploader, try instead first exporting your project in a format that YouTube accepts. Then upload the result to YouTube. Let us know if it succeeds.
  16. When the X is clicked and the transition choices appear, duration can be changed in the box at the bottom of the window. Follow the 1.000 format shown. The FROM/TO clips must be of sufficient length to accommodate the transition. If they are not, its duration may be limited. Also, using FREEZE mode, if there are no handles (excess video at the end of the FROM CLIP and/or at the head of the TO clip) video may freeze during the transition.
  17. Suggest again, if feasible, that you save the project, then delete the lion's share of it - leaving only a portion that routinely displays the problem. Use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT. Zip (if necessary) and upload the result, then post a public link here. Someone will try to duplicate what you see.
  18. You have uploaded a 2:35 project. The WonLife\2017-12-24_12-49-47.mp4 source file is frozen at the head, so that's what you will get when edited in VP. Perhaps that file needs trimming? Someone will take a look at the 20" final version if you place it on the time line, then click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload the results to Google Drive and post a public link here.
  19. See this thread. The tool mentioned in the final response is freeware.
  20. Something is not kosher with your upload. Files are missing. And there are several VPJ files, two in one upload and one in the other. Load the project. Then use FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. The result should be a single VPJ file and all your source files. Either upload each, individually, or zip them all and upload the zip file.
  21. What VP version is in use? Here's the latest. Confirm in storybook mode that there are no gaps between the frames. If practicable, click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Then upload all the resulting project files to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. Make the link public and post it here. If there are many files, zip them first. Someone will take a look.
  22. NCH states... " If the license is named as an "Installation License" the main restriction is you need to purchase one license serial number for each computer that the program runs on. Can I move the software or reinstall the software in future? Within reason - yes. As long as the software does not continue to run on the old computer you can install the software on a new computer. As a piracy control measure we do limit the number of installations to 2 times in any 12 month period. Note: we do run an anti-piracy system which can detect multiple installs. But as long as the software (with one serial number) runs on one PC at any one time, you will not have problems." More info here.
  23. Here's the stated NCH policy on upgrades... "Your registration and activation code will work on any fix or new version of the software released within 3 months from the date of purchase. After that you are always entitled to discounted upgrade pricing." The latest version can be downloaded here. Developers continually strive to improve rendering/export efficiency. One day they may even come up with a 64bit VP incarnation.
  24. Two things to try... Install the latest version. What graphics card, and is the driver up to date? Under OPTIONS|EDITING tab, toggle hardware acceleration to its other state, and see if that makes a difference. If no joy, with your project loaded click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload the results (all files, or zip into a single file) to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. Make the link public and post it here. Someone will check it out.
  25. Perhaps a reasonably-sized section of the project where this regularly occurs can be isolated and uploaded for analysis.
