  1. With the project loaded, click FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload ALL the files that result to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. Make the link public and post it here. If there are many files, zip them first, then upload the zip file. Someone will test DVD burning.
  2. Yes, that would be unwieldy. Perhaps you can split off a small portion of the project that displays the same problem, export and upload it. If smaller segments do not exhibit the freezes, then it suggests that success may be achieved by divvying up the project.
  3. Test your project in the latest VP version. Improvements have been made. With the project loaded, click FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload ALL the files that result to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. Make the link public and post it here. If there are many files, zip them first, then upload the zip file. Someone will take a look, to see if they see the same problem.
  4. See if this recent thread solves the problem.
  5. In the past, when the trial ('free' version) expired, WMI and AVI exports were still available. Perhaps the policy has changed; a company rep will have to speak to that. You might try an UNinstall, via Control Panel|Programs and Features. Then reinstall. If during uninstall there's a prompt to revert to the free version, make that choice. Be sure to save your project first, so that it can be reloaded.
  6. After a period of time the trial (aka 'free') version limits some features. Try exporting to AVI or WMI. Read this - though policies may have changed.
  7. Right-click the video track and the UNlink choice should be available, IF the link symbol is showing to the right of the speaker icon on the audio clip below. If it isn't, then the clips aren't linked. You can also click on that link symbol to unlink the tracks. This, in version 6.0.
  8. There have been many changes/improvements since 3x. Whether they are worth it is subjective. Review the latest for yourself, with a free download.
  9. The linked file is no good. But what's needed are the project files, so someone can try to dupe what you're seeing. With the project loaded to the time line, click FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload ALL the resulting files to Google Drive. If there are many files, zip them first, then upload the zip file. Make the link public and post it here.
  10. What version of Videopad? Licensed (paid) or unlicensed (trial)?
  11. With a project that has this behavior loaded into VP, click the FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload the results to Dropbox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. Make the link public and post it here. If there are many files, zip them first, then upload the zip file. If the project is lengthy, perhaps a portion of it that displays the problem can be split away and uploaded. Someone will take a look.
  12. Does it do this in the preview window, or after the project is exported? Three things to try... In Videopad click OPTIONS in the menu bar. Under the EDITING tab, toggle the "use hardware-accelerated video effects" checkmark to the other state. Under the DISK tab, press the Clear Unused Cache Files button. Check with the chip or card manufacturer of your video card/adapter for an updated driver. If none of these measures helps, please share your project so someone can check it out... Click FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Upload ALL files that result to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like. Make the link public and post it here. If there are numerous files, zip them first, then upload the zip file.
  13. Not seeing that behavior here. Five A/V linked clips were dropped onto the timeline; they were not grouped. A portion of each was deleted. This excised both audio and video. Clips 1, 3, 5 were unlinked, then selected and dragged to audio track 2. Each clip retained its original length.. No need to relink, but it made no difference in clip lengths. The volume on track two was maximized. The project was exported, and volume on all track 2 clips remained maximized.
  14. Your project was exported here, using auto-detected resolution and frame rate Mp4, and H264/AAC decoder settings. Constant frame rate box UNchecked. The result. Played flawlessly in WMP and MPC-HC. You might check with your video card or chip manufacturer's WEBsite for an updated video driver.
  15. Indeed, this hints that Focusrite is disabling or stealing the audio feed to those sources. Perhaps it's a simple setting that a Focusrite forum or support line can pin down. Nothing is wrong with your WAV file, and it played and exported successfully with several video editing apps here.
  16. The WAV plays fine in VP 6.0 here, and is at the optimal volume level. But it's out of sync.
  17. In this case we need only the (apparently silent) WAV file. But it's okay to upload the entire project... Click FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT and upload all the files that result to DropBox, not just the VPJ file. You can zip them first, if there are many, and upload only the zip file.
  18. If it doesn't distort the video or create undesired black borders, export at a different resolution/format. 640 X 480, for example, results in the old TV 4:3 presentation. To crop instead, you might import a video to VP, drop it onto the timeline as a single clip, then click the FX button at the bottom-left of the clip. The effect box opens. Click the far upper-left green + sign and choose CROP. In the preview window, drag the handles (dots) to the size desired.
  19. What version of Videopad are you using? Try the latest. What export format? Have you tried others? Please click FILE menu|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT. Then upload the result (ALL files) to a server, such as DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, create a public link and post it here. If there are many files, zip them first, then upload the zip file. Someone will check out your work.
  20. So, in essence, a WAV file that plays at normal volume in Wavepad and media players won't play when added to Videopad? Please upload the file to a server, such as DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, create a public link and post it here. Someone will take a listen.
  21. That's how it works here. After a PAUSE, the timeline cursor picks up from where it left off. Click the VIEW menu on the toolbar, then Restore Default Layout, and see if that helps. If not, try reinstalling the program or test the latest version.
  22. Whatever succeeds! In recent VP versions you should be seeing this...
  23. Click the chevron to the right of the VIEW icon and choose "clip and background."
  24. Before dragging a clip, UNlink it by clicking the link symbol in the clip thumbnail on the timeline. Unlink each clip to be dragged, select those clips, drag. The links can be restored via the right-click menu.
