  1. You're getting closer, but some files in the package appear to not be used in the project and others are missing. Be sure that the complete project is on the timeline when saving PORTABLE PROJECT AS. Try again, and make the link public.
  2. Most folks likely won't utilize plugins. Here are three pages that will help you decide... http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win/vpselectvst.html https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/free-plugins.html http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win/effects_virtualdub.html Not every third-party plugin is guaranteed to work in Videopad. Download the latest version and try it out.
  3. When you save a PORTABLE project the result will be a dated/numerical folder, as instructed above. Sign up with MS OneDrive, Google Drive or the like, upload and share that folder there. It's free. Post the shared link here or in a personal message to me. If you already have an MS or Google account your ID/Password sign-in will be the same for all their services. https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/ https://www.google.com/drive/
  4. If you share it we will see the project just as you do on the timeline and can export it in a number of quality settings. You might also mention just which scene/s, specifically, don't look right - if that isn't readily apparent. What version of VP is being used?
  5. The easiest way to sleuth this is to upload the project and share it. That's not difficult. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material you can link it in a personal message (PM) to me, via the envelope above. Be sure to FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS, not simply SAVE PROJECT, and don't forget to share it.
  6. Nat's method is solid and simple. An alternative approach would be to first lock the video track, add any audio file to the bin, then set an end time by dragging the blue right-hand bracket (on the timeline below the preview window) to the left until the length of this 'wild' audio clip matches the desired offset time.. Click the chevron to the right of the ADD button (under the preview window) and ADD SEQUENCE AT START. The 'wild' clip will be inserted ahead of your audio clip, pushing it down the timeline by the offset amount. That clip then can be deleted.
  7. You might direct that query to NCH via https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html
  8. It's a mystery. Try installing Videopad on another machine and see if sounds are available there. The latest version.
  9. Being that this is a somewhat obscure issue, word that muxed handling has changed may not be forthcoming. But you can check this page on occasion.
  10. a) Improvements may be in the works. b) After splitting, select both clips and click the fx on the one that has the EQ. Then click the forth button from the left on the toolbar. Or the fifth button, to append the EQ. c) Unable to replicate the sound issue in 8.04. Tested two silent WMA and Mp3 clips side-by-side and the same clips at one-quarter volume. There was no click between them.
  11. A possibility; doesn't appear to be a VP issue. Temporarily disable the firewall as a test.
  12. Tested here with the 8.04 'free' version. The stock sounds are available. One was downloaded to confirm.
  13. Right-click the 'speaker' icon in the notification area (bottom-right of the Windows 10 screen) and click OPEN SOUND SETTINGS. Confirm that the input device is the correct one. Links to advanced audio settings can be found there.
  14. Install Videopad and try to register it. If that fails get in touch with NCH. https://www.nch.com.au/support/reg.html For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.
  15. Peculiar; comes right up here with "connecting to server." Install or re-install the current version and see if that helps. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.
  16. Looks as if you have unearthed a Windows 10 Movies and TV app bug. The app has trouble with lossless output, which is how VP exported it at the Mp4 default settings. Load the video into it and, yes, the slide is missing. However, if the seek bar dot is dragged all the way to the left, then the full content is shown. Export the file with the MPEG compressor instead of H264 (click on the blue Default Quality/Filesize link to make that choice) and the video plays in full in the Movies and TV app. Or export as an AVI.
  17. Looks just fine here, using 8.04. Slide and text are intact. On the sequence timeline, is the slide area darkened? If so, above the bin (top-left) click the SEQUENCES tab, then click on Sequence 1 Below the preview window thumbnails, drag the red [ bracket all the way to the left, so there is no darkened area. Now try your export again.
  18. What version of Videopad is in use? Test the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. If the problem persists, please share your project. Someone will check it out and resolve the issue.

  21. Depending upon the position of the watermark, scale the video larger, to move the WM out of the frame. Or add a blank clip or other graphic, cropped to cover the WM, as an overlay. This might also be useful.
  22. What version of Videopad is being used? Test the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months.
