  1. Don't know what to tell you As shown in the above video, the diamond transition operates correctly, no matter what its duration. You might try an uninstalled/reinstall of the program. And, under OPTIONS | DISK tab, Clear Unused Cache Files, just in case there is corruption.
  2. Works here in v8.74. Hold down <ctrl> and click each clip in turn or click the first, hold down <shift> and click the last. All will be selected. Tested here. A clip is a clip, whether it resides in the bin or is on the timeline.
  3. Update to this version and the problem should vanish. v8.67, if that's what you are running, has been supplanted. But likely owning to the weekend in Australia it has not yet been updated on the server.
  4. Update to this version and the problem should vanish. v8.67 has been supplanted but owing to the weekend in Australia the server may not yet be updated..
  5. As the sequence or clip plays, click Configure, adjust the EQ waveform and press APPLY. You will instantly hear the result. EQ.mp4
  6. They read them. If you re-encode quality loss should be negligible, but that's a subjective opinion. Speed will be much slower, of course.
  7. Thanks for sharing. Unable to replicate what you see. Suggest upgrading to the version linked above. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. trans.mp4
  8. Thanks for the follow up. File a suggestion by clicking the chevron at the top-right of the VP window.
  9. B&W was just an observation; mono is irrelevant to export. VP does work with both operating systems. Use the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Since lossless was fine here the issue couldn't be replicated in Windows. Both files exported is less than ten seconds. If it still doesn't work for you on the latest Mac version please file a bug report. https://tinyurl.com/r89tpcw
  10. May seem that way, but t'aint true. Enable dual preview.
  11. Free is a very good price. Limitations include some effects and export formats. When bugs are replicated they are quickly fixed or remedies suggested here.
  12. Grant the request so anyone can view your links. As it stands, they cannot. As noted earlier, durations can be altered here on any transition type, including diamond, by either inputting a time or by dragging the transition grey line.
  13. Upgrade to this version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Toggle "hardware acceleration" under OPTIONS | EDITING tab, to see if this affects speed. Try decreasing the size of the PV window by dragging the white line under the thumbnails upwards. File suggestions with the company. Click the chevron at the top-right of the VP window. There is virtually no buffering here if caching (the green line above the video track) is allowed to complete. That said, this being a 32-bit program, multi-tracks/effects and very high-res files can max out memory. The 64-bit version you mention is in the works. Video editing is hardware intensive. If your project contains large high-resolution files consider proxy editing. As you may know, this technique is often employed, even in higher-end NLE programs.
  14. Unlicensed versions will continue to function, but with limitations. The trial period will expire. When mp4 export is blocked, try AVI. Better still...license the software.
  15. You should receive a request from 'krosnafone.' Grant it. Switch to Storyboard mode and be sure that there are no gaps between slides where transitions are desired. Also suggest that you upgrade to this version.
  16. You need to change 'restricted' to ANYONE can view in Google Drive. Then folks can access your content. Changing transition duration here works for every choice, including diamond.
  17. Drop a note to the above tech support link with specifics on what you're running and what it does (or doesn't do).
  18. It appears that you're running a Mac. Here, in Windows, both files succeed with lossless export, whether individually or back to back on the timeline. They are black and white. So...unable to replicate the issue.
  19. If you have not registered the software, Install this version and see if that doesn't fix it. If you have paid, licensed users can upgrade free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  20. 640x480 (NTSC). Or choose TV NTSC in the Preset field. You can also create your own, using Custom (at the bottom of the list). On export, the CROP AND ZOOM button will avoid black bars.
  21. Good to hear. Thanks for letting us know.
  22. That's a new one - never before reported AFAIK. Is this what you see when exporting? What folder is Save pointing to? You get the "file not found" message when you click CREATE in the export dialog box? \ Close VP. Reopen, then prior to loading any files go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. You can also try this free tool to uninstall VP and all its registry files, then reinstall v8.74. And it wouldn't hurt to reboot the PC. Other than that, perhaps someone else has a clue.
  23. Something isn't kosher. With the project on the timeline, click EXPORT on the tool or menu bar|VIDEO FILE. The export window appears. Choose the format and settings, and direct it to a convenient existing folder, such as DOWNLOADS. That's it. VP can directly export to Google Drive, MS OneDrive, YouTube, Vimeo, etc. This is not dependent upon the VPJ (non-playable) file. Export can be accomplished without first saving a project. To save a project, so it can be loaded later by clicking the VPJ control file, use Save Project File AS, giving it a unique # or name so as to not overwrite prior saves. Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite.
  24. Upgrade to this version and see if the issue is resolved. Report back.
  25. When exporting click the Default Quality/Filesize blue link and this should pop up... Note the choices that appear when clicking in the Lossless Export field. The program decides if lossless is possible. Apparently one of your files does not meet the specs. Share, and someone here will check. Zip the files, then upload to a free server such as Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive. Get a shared link and paste it here. If using Google, click the 'Restricted' link and change it to Anyone Can Share.
