Nat nailed it. Move the balance slider to the center (no pan). The core issue is that the man's audio was recorded to the right channel only. Audio needs to be made MONO. Use WavePad, which can be test driven for free. In Videopad, right-click the man's audio track and from the drop-down menu choose Edit With Wavepad. At the bottom of the WP window, click on the word STEREO and in the next box select MONO. Click CONVERT. Click the X at the top-right to exit and then click on SAVE. The new, mono file will be somewhere on the VP timeline. UNlink the old audio by right-clicking on the man's audio track, then delete that original audio track. Now drag the new mono audio underneath the video, or drag the video above the audio, so they match up.

What version of Videopad is being used? Try holding down the <alt> key while dragging.

I was checking my storage space on my hard disk drive before editing and after editing and video pad processing the video and loading the audio and it turns out that it uses up a lot of storage of gigabytes on your hard drive, after my video was processed I had 0 space left on my hard drive and thus it couldn't render or load any more audio files since there is no more space and that explains why the video's audio has not been fully loaded. When you see that your video is being processed that means that video pad is loading the video and audio from the recorded video itself, if you don't have enough space on your hard disk drive then it can't load anymore audio or the video. The solution to this was that I went to video pad options top right of home menu: Then first going to Disk then look for cache then click on clear unused cache files, its ok if it didn't clear anything but if it did clear anything more better. Humm, appears to be some inconsistencies here. VP 10.96(64-bit) The export would accept no larger than 4096 (x2304) and succeeded at that resolution as it had on lower-res files. Animation scaling was flawless. For lengthy projects or those employing high-res files or complex effects it's best to use the 64-bit versions.

It's there in 10.96 and prior releases, using the mp4 format - but not with AVI export.

The links to the VP files are good here. Perhaps you are locked out for some reason. Try the repository, and download a 64-bit release. After animating a few of your stills, interspersed with video, still unable to replicate your result.

Exported at 4094x2304 with various scaled sizes applied, using both 10.88 and 10.96 (64-bit) version. Seamless. Even interspersed three videos of various resolutions between the slides at the same export res. No issues. What are the PC's specs: RAM/CPU/GPU? Try this 10.88.

H265 is available via the Default Quality / File size link in the export box. But don't believe it supports accelerated graphics, so you may find it to be slow.

Considering the above listed speed results, the core issue may not be that important. VP did better than Handbrake in several tests. But there are other issues, as you noted. You are likely also aware that Windows updates can be delayed for up to five weeks (Win 11).

Select (highlight) the clips that are to receive the effect, then click the FX box on one of the clips and choose the effect. If it isn't applied to all clips immediately, click the Replace Chain button on the effects toolbar. . This process can vary somewhat, depending upon the version of VP being used.
