  1. As noted earlier, 11.08 lossless has a bug. Use the linked 10.96, above. Don't feel an urge to update if the version you have is doing the job. It's wise to give new releases some time - to see if quirks surface. But they can always be test driven - licensed or not - to check out new features and improvements.
  2. The build linked above was not private - just an earlier release. Using it, lossless export of your two files (red/blue) looks fine in MPC-BE and Windows Media Player. Upload your exported file and we'll check it out.
  3. Send untouched samples via private message, for analysis. No one else will see them. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  4. https://superuser.com/questions/135117/how-to-extract-one-frame-of-a-video-every-n-seconds-to-an-image https://www.raymond.cc/blog/extract-video-frames-to-images-using-vlc-media-player/ To create a video at 1fps, choose custom in the export box and specify that rate.
  5. A confirmed bug that will be fixed in the next release. In the interim, install this recent version.
  6. Right-click, for a drop-down menu...
  7. In the Videopad section of Oldversiondownload.com, every listing is the editor - by date and release #. Good luck!
  8. There's no option to capture a frame per second. Submit a suggestion... https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html?software=VideoPad You might take snapshots - of either the clip or sequence. They are saved by default to your Pictures folder. Right-click in the PV window...
  9. What version of Videopad is being used? Look at the bottom-left corner of the window or at the start-up screen. What are the export settings? THE best way to get to the bottom of this is to share a project that has the problem. Someone will take a look and come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  10. This appears to be a lossless export issue. In the export box, clicking the blue Default Quality/Filesize link and choosing OFF (re-encode) seems to fix it. Discussed further in a PM.
  11. When you mention the newest Intel drivers, you are referring to the video driver on a Windows PC? https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html What version of Videopad is being used? Install the latest. But before you do, use this free utility to uninstall. Do this with the registry files that it finds as well. Please report your results.
  12. The license is good for up to six-months from purchase, so you may be able to install a later version from within that time period. Look here. What version were you using that had the issue ... which no one else has reported? We'll check it out. https://www.nch.com.au/upgrade/
  13. Get in touch with NCH on that one. See if this leads you to the right folks... https://www.nch.com.au/software/buyfaq.html Note the link at the bottom. If an older image is restored it should be good unless very outdated. W10/11 will ask to update it again.
  14. Click the Menu item (top-left), then VIEW | RESTORE DEFAULT LAYOUT. The instructions on how to include a screenshot... https://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-get-help-share-a-screenshot-or-project/?do=getLastComment
  15. That's a strange one, especially since it does the same on another PC. Doesn't do it here, using 11.08. And there have been no other similar reports. Test this version and report back. See your personal message for the result.
  16. Thanks for sharing. Again, what version of Videopad is being run? Look at the left-bottom corner of the window or at the start-up screen. With this release at default export settings, two tests were run that mirrored your trim - one using the original and the other the NO EDIT file. Both edited exports resulted in a stereo mp4. So cannot replicate your result. However, your :15 EDIT file does list only a single channel, though the audio plays as stereo. On the above tests, the export is confirmed as two channels.
  17. It this an A/V file? Are there other video files with audio on the timeline? What VP version is being used? Please share the file that is the problem, and someone will check it out. This is easy and can be private.
  18. This can occur when a single-channel mono file is used in a project that has stereo files. A quick fix if this is the case is to convert the mono file into a center-channel mono (stereo) file. Wavepad handles that easily. Load the file, click STEREO at the bottom of the window, choose to convert to MONO and exit. Load that audio in place of the original. In some cases, a right-click on the audio will offer the option to OPEN IN WAVEPAD. After editing is complete, click the X at the top-right and SAVE. The revised file will appear on the Videopad timeline, where it can be positioned correctly, and the original deleted.
  19. When you say "single channel" do you mean that one channel is active and the other is dead ... or that both channels play identical audio? If the former, verify that the balance control is centered.
  20. Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Then close the current project. When you want to reload it, double-click the most recent VPJ that you saved. Prior to beginning a new project, open OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. You can also do this while working on a project.
  21. What version of Videopad is being used? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Unable to replicate what you report - PAUSE stops all play.
  22. See the GET HELP 'sticky' post above for instructions on how to include a link here to a screen shot or a project. Specifically, what 'control pad' is misplaced?
  23. If there is an audio track beneath the text clip, it will be heard, unless it's muted. To banish it create a gap in audio by splitting the audio clip and delete the unwanted portion. Example of a text file with audio that has a deleted, silent section...
  24. You can also install this release.
  25. No, it's not a limitation. For the trial period, most features should be available. Assuming that you installed version 11.08, when exporting click the blue Default Quality/Filesize link and choose OFF (re-encode). Does that solve the issue?
