  1. Check out the tips in the 'sticky' post above - Efficiently build a stacked collage or virtual choir . Swapping won't be easy.
  2. If you Save AS regularly, nothing will be lost (but for time). Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Install the 64-bit latest version, and report back whether this solves the issue. If it does not, please share your project. Someone will take a look and come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  3. Yes, someone needs to see what you see. Please upload the project (not the export or the VPJ file alone) per the instructions above. You might also install the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  4. Your license should be good for this version as well, which corrected a problem with 10.48 that you may never encounter.
  5. What version of VP is being used? Test the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Under OPTIONS | MEDIA tab, UNcheck the box for Automatically normalize audio volume of external audio/video files.
  6. Took a look at version 10.10 and the deshaker was working. Try this release, which should be within your licensing period.
  7. A right-click on a video clip in the bin, followed by a click on STABILIZE VIDEO pops it right up in v10.96 here. That's not the case for you?
  8. Clicking on RESOLVE opens the file manager. You need to locate the folder containing the file, and click on the file itself. An alternative would be to move or copy the file to the folder where it originally was when the project was saved - where VP expects to find it. Never move or remove source files until certain that a project is complete.
  9. No, the project should be fine with either release. Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Let's take a look at it. Upload, as instructed above. What are your PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM?
  10. It is. The link above is to the 64-bit version, which is advised for complex or lengthy projects. Your file was tested on the 32-bit version.
  11. That's still not the project. But the file plays and exports perfectly in the latest version. Give it a try. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. What are the PC specs: CPU/GPU/RAM?
  12. The VPJ file alone is of no use. With your project complete on the timeline, please follow the instructions above to Back Up Files to a Folder, then upload that folder. In the export box there are many options - resolution, codecs, fps, etc. The defaults are usually fine.
  13. What version is being used? Please upload the original ts file for inspection. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  14. 500 for the rewind seems right. For the slow clip use 80% to get a 20% reduction in speed. Leave the "keep pitch unchanged" box checked.
  15. What version of Videopad is being used? Look at the left-bottom corner of the window. What are the export settings? Someone here will solve the issue if you take a few minutes to share your project.
  16. Mixing 9:16 videos with a 4x3 image doesn't do that here. The 4x3 isn't converted to portrait mode. Set your export to a 16:9 (or close) resolution... Without seeing the project it's tough to diagnose. Take a few minutes to share, and someone will come up with an answer for you... The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. 17. Check this out. And drop back here from time to time. Others may offer advice. This may be worth a look.

  19. On the effects toolbar click the 'folder', and name the effect. It appears as a template at the bottom of the effects window and persists over various installations.
  20. Possible related info in this thread. You may have to try a different capture device. File a report... https://www.nch.com.au/software/bug.html?software=VideoPad Or contact tech support... https://tinyurl.com/yjwnxe5d
  21. It's manual - one at a time. But once the clips are loaded the process is reasonably quick. Four clicks... (1) Select the clip, (2) click the END button, (3) right-click in PV and (4) click Use This Frame. Provided that the window position stays the same you might employ a macro to carry out the last three steps after each clip is selected. Here's a free macro recorder. Recorded and tested a script and it worked well.
  22. There's no last-frame default. But there is a way to manually set the thumbnails to display the last frame. Load all pitches into the bin (top-left). Select (highlight) a pitch by clicking on its thumbnail. Go to the end of the clip by clicking this button... Right-click in the preview window and Use This Frame Clip as Bin Thumb Frame.
  23. What version of Videopad is being used? What type of files are the background and the overlaid video? The background should be on track 1; the foreground (top) on track 2. What effect is being used to scale down the top image? So others can see what you see, please share the project. It's easy and can be private. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. 24. That it previously succeeded, or does when loaded from 'g' hints that there's a PC issue. No harm in checking the file system by invoking the administrative command prompt and running... CHKDSK c: /r
  25. It can be installed, tested, then 10.96 reinstalled.
