  1. The command line for silent install is: -LQUIET Please note that it's case sensitive.
  2. 'Letter box' or 'Crop and Zoom' options are available when output aspect ratio is different to input aspect ratio. One of the options must be selected in order to convert aspect ratio. In the new version we integrated this option into the export dialog. In the old version there was a popup dialog which users complained that's confusing. The auto-match feature is just a suggestion and users can always select target resolution regardless the auto-match result. If you think this feature is not working in the way you want please suggest how it should work. We issue free upgrade license to users whom gave us good advice or helped us fix bugs. Upgraded key will be send to the user when the suggestion or bug fixing is applied to the new version.
  3. Hi Nat, That's a really good idea! Thanks.
  4. Hi Michael, Audio data in WAV is uncompressed. After you export to mp4, the audio is compressed by AAC encoder. Isn't it make sense that compressed data will have less bit rate since less data need to be transmitted per second? Also, in the screenshot above, 320kbps in MP3 is "Maximum bit rate", meaning that the encoder will output less bit rate if the audio data can be compressed more without losing quality.
  5. Hi Michael, Is it possible to share(upload to Google Drive, One Drive etc.) the original clip so we can have a look? It's possible that some video files include multiple audio stream in different bit rate. If this is the case, please make sure the audio stream you selected when import is more than 320kbps.
  6. I've file this as a suggestion. Thanks.
  7. Hi Miri, Could you please also upload the project file (and the original clips) so we can have a look?
  8. @michael_DK Which version of VideoPad are you using? We recently fixed a similar issue and apply to the latest release (7.03).
  9. Hi, This video contains data with wrong time stamps. The video can be fixed by using Prism (our video converter) to re-encode the video. Don't forget to select "Re-encode" option when you convert the video.
  10. We also fixed a few issues that causing preview lag even the clip is fully cached.
  11. Some VOB files need extra information to be played correctly. Therefore you'll normally found there are some other files on a DVD rather than just the VOB file. If you play these VOB file alone on a player, the player would probably try to guess the missing information and recover from error. Even the video can be played, there will be other errors like A/V out of sync or no seeking etc.. To fix this issue, we will provide an option to generate a new video with recovered information. It might still have issues like audio out of sync etc..
  12. We removed to popup sometime (in fact long time) ago and think it might getting in the way when exporting. We'll rethink this and put the option back in a better way.
  13. Hi CoC, Thanks for posting and the nice comment at the end. I wouldn't comment on other things but we are doing our best on improving cache performance. I really think the next upcoming version will make a difference, in a good way. Kind Regards.
  14. @Ivan187 Agree. We really need to get this kind of bugs fixed.
  15. I have to admit that speed change is still problematic. We just started some serious work (take months) and hopefully get this problem fixed permanently. At the moment, speed change must be used with care, especially with In/Out points and reverse. Most of problems related to speed change are preview only though.
  16. Please try the link for v7.02 beta (from above in Borate's post).
  17. Hi Nat, Is there any case that the button is getting in the way?
  18. Hi Nat, We've found and fixed a bug in the template dialog might causing the confusion. Template merging feature (we've renamed it to "Apply Template") is meant to use existing clips on timeline any replacing placeholder clips in the template. The end result would be a new sequence.
  19. Please check out the beta version (need to wait until it updates to 7.02). The audio issue should be also fixed.
  20. Thanks everyone for reporting bugs and discuss with us so we can get them fixed. We are sending out free upgrade registration keys to users involved in the discussions. Special thanks to @borate and @Nationalsolo for generously providing great help to other users and our developers!
  21. To get the fix in the beta version, existing users need to delete all the components to get the old codec replaced. If you don't bother to do this please wait for the upcoming release.
  22. I still don't think CPU is an issue. Can you share one of the projects that has fade out problem to me? If it's big please try remove the irreverent bits.
  23. This bug has been fixed in the Beta version.
