  5. Hi @NZDave Speech to Text works with all SAPI-compliant speech recognition software. Most Windows computers already have it installed. 1) Click the Options button on the toolbar 2) Go to the Speech to Text tab 3) Select the Enable speech recognition checkbox 4) Select a Default profile: - If the profile dropdown list is empty, go to the Control Panel - Select Ease of Access - Select Speech Recognition - Select Advanced speech options - Click the Train Profile button and follow the steps - When you return to Express Scribe, the default profile will be in the dropdown list 5) Click the OK button to save your changes and close the window Please Note: Speech to Text will only work with files that are loaded after you set it up. Any files that are already loaded into Express Scribe will need to be reloaded to utilize Speech to Text. The transcription will appear in the Notes section of Express Scribe after Speech to Text finishes running. The process can take some time (even longer than the recording itself).
  6. Hi @Schiessel Johann, If possible please share the error message you received with us so we can have a closer look at it. You can upload the screenshot on the following link: https://files.fm/

  8. @SonicFlash When creating a plan, it will include interior dimensions. It's a standard practice.
10. WavePad can convert a file's sample rate or number of channels. This change applies to the whole file (you cannot change just parts of the file). To convert the sample rate of the current file use the menu Edit -> Convert Sample Rate and select the new sample rate. The sample rate must be between 6000 and 192000 samples per second. Typical sample rates are displayed in the pull down list. To convert the channels of the current file (stereo to mono or vice versa) select Edit -> Convert Channels. A typical reason for converting the sample rate down is when you know it is going to be used on the telephone (8000 mono) or if you are about to compress the file for internet transmission (e.g., GSM takes 11025 or 8000 mono). For a broad explanation about sample rates see General Audio Concepts [http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/wavepad/win/concepts.html]
  11. @Paul Sidello, From the main navigation bar select View > Location and click on the Add but in the newly opened window. That should do it.
  12. Hi @Meher Zeb, Unfortunately the program does not have this option. NCH welcomes suggestions for program improvements, which you may submit through developers' feedback portal: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html. This way, this feature might be implemented in future versions of the program.
  13. Hi @Rick Wicker, You can try to reinstall the software and check the result. Uninstall ExpressBurn, then delete 3 folders named "ExpressBurn" and 1 named "Components" from these locations: **C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\ExpressBurn\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\ExpressBurn\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components **C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\ExpressBurn\ **If you can't find any of the folders, just continue. If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files. Install the software version that is covered by your license and enter the registration code. After that repeat the process.

    Licence period

Hi @Danny100, Yes, you can. NCH offers three types of licenses for this software: 1) Pixillion Image Format Converter Premium Edition - The "Premium" registration gives you a full features license to use a single installation of Pixillion Plus including text captioning, watermarking and the ability to convert more than one image at a time. 2) Pixillion Image Format Converter Standard Edition - The "Standard" registration also gives you access to all support file formats and batch converting but without added effects including watermarking photos. Both licenses are lifetime licenses and can not expire.
  24. Hi @frank100 You can verify if you have set a limit for the recording duration by navigating to the Options button and examining the Record tab. Look for the maximum recording time setting.
