  1. try downloading the GSpot codec tool here: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ load your files in this program and tell me what codec it says the files are using.
  2. That's indeed an odd file extension, I have no idea what it is.
  3. wpp means "wavepad project", use the "Open Project" menu item in WavePad, NOT "Open File"
  4. If its DRM'ed then yes it is useless to keep trying, sorry.
  5. burned a disk with what program? If its not with Express Burn, then we can't help.
  6. sorry, I have no idea what AAC plus is, I suspect its a proprietary format.
  7. we can't help here, please read the Audacity FAQ for further help.

    5.1

not yet, but we are thinking about ac3 support at some point in time.
  11. sorry to ask, but what does this question have to do with any of our products?
  12. I can assure you our software does not affect how other products behave. I have Skype installed on my computer here and have not had one single problem with it, and I install/uninstall Switch almost every other day. As far as your files goes, if you can send one to me that doesn't work, I think I can make a better assessment of whether converting your files is possible or not. Send it to tj[at]nch.com.au
  13. I tried downloading the rm file, and I noticed that the file took TWO HOURS to download! I think this is the problem - it looks like Switch isn't doing anything, whereas in actual fact it needs 2 hours to download the file. As far as converting the rm file to other formats goes, I am not sure as of yet why it isn't working.
  14. not yet, support will come in the future.
  15. I don't think Iproducer can run batch scripts. Use the edit feature in Iproducer to load the wav files in WavePad. Then save them as mp3 files.
  16. sending me your files really help guys! Otherwise its guess work.
  17. I know there are problems with specific MP3 files, but we don't know what the problem is ourselves. If you have an example mp3 file that doesn't work, feel free to send it to me at tj[at]nch.com.au and that will help me get to the bottom of the problem.
  18. if you can find an ACM codec for it, then you can convert to a G729 .wav file. But I don't know where to find such a codec.
