  1. What CPU, out of curiosity? It's a reasonable practice to clear the cache prior to a new project. Allow caching to complete before previewing. Usually that's represented by a green line above most of the timeline.
  2. Let's hear it. Not the export, but the project. Here's how to share it... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ Someone will check it out.
  3. Test this beta version. If you are a registered user, remember that upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, your purchase will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the latest. Always retain the installer file, though it's automatically backed up on the PC. If the problem isn't resolved, please share your project so others can have a look. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/
  4. Let's see the project. Upload, share it, and post the link here please.
  5. This issue was resolved in later releases. First thing, Clear Unused Cache Files. OPTIONS|DISK. Just in case there is cache corruption. Next, switch to Storyboard mode (tab at the left of the timeline) and scroll through the clips. Each is shown independently. If the extra snippets are there, delete (ripple) them. There have been issues with MTS files that should be corrected in this beta version. Save your project (regularly, using SAVE AS with a different name or incremented #), install it, then load the project. Finally, if the above measures fail, share the project. Someone will check it out. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/
  6. What version of VP are you using? Try the latest. If you are a registered user, remember that upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, your purchase will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the latest. Always retain the installer file, though it's automatically backed up on the PC. If no joy, the best way to sleuth this is for you to share your project. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/
  7. Likely that was Debut. Perhaps a setting? In any case it's not related to the issue here. https://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/tutorial.html
  8. The installer file for versions that you have used should be in this path on your PC ... "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Videopad" If not, they can be download from http://OLDVERSIONDOWNLOAD.COM
  9. Indeed, there appears to be a compatibility issue. Was the project created in v6.10? It is unusable in v7.11 and won't load in v7.12. Reported. Normal load time in v7.02. Exported successfully at 1920 x 1080, 45fps (Smart Max) on an I8700K CPU with 32G RAM and NVidia 1060 video.
  10. Not seeing that here with either version - 7.11 or the still being developed and tested 7.12 In reality, there have been significant improvements in caching since the 6.x era. That said, a project created in 6.x may not be fully compatible with 7.x. An I3 for video editing is marginal, especially for large HD files. The best way to sleuth this is to see the project. Please place it on the timeline in full and share it via these instructions. Someone will check it out for you.. http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/
  11. Took another run at the initial failure to load the original MTS-based project, with a different result. On a slow PC with Videopad v7.11 (unregistered) it did load, and both previewed and exported with an unwanted parking lot scene between the two interior cuts. Though the lot could be excised on the sequence it remained in the export. This echoes a report by another user and should be a non-issue in the next VP version. There was NO unwanted scene when using an mp4 converted source file.
  12. Indeed, there's a sync problem with that file and it is being addressed. UNlink audio and video (via the right-click menu) and then increase video speed to 100.085.
  13. Three ideas... Clear Unused Cache Files prior to loading the project. OPTIONS|DISK Reinstall VP Best way to troubleshoot: upload and share the project. Someone will check it out. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/
  14. What file types are being loaded? Is this a existing project, or simply individual files being added that will be creating the project?
  15. Corrected project provided. The Colombia excursion and your next destination effort should load and export fine in the upcoming VP release, as tested here.
  16. Please upload it to a server, make it public and link it here. Someone will take a look.
  17. Redid the export in v7.11. Clean, no bleed. Sides not cut off, which is an issue that has likely been solved or one caused by export settings confusion.
  18. Export from v7.11 looked the same here as did your examples. A frame grab from your NTSC video, followed by one from v.711 at 720p 29.97fps The page curl transition has a problem at that five-second speed, but most wouldn't notice. Reported.
  19. Great fun once again! What VP version was in use? Cannot pin down the problem; it exported fully in v7.02. Version 7.11 had issues, which have been reported. Prior to export, unused source files were deleted, to 'clean' the project.
  20. Yelena, Please see the personal message in the mailbox. Click on the envelope at the top-right of this page.
  21. Hints that the program, not the audio files, is corrupt. Tried reinstalling it?
  22. What Videopad version? Try this one. If you are a registered user, remember that upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, your purchase will continue to fully function, but a fee will be required in order to register the latest. Always retain the installer file, though it's automatically backed up on the PC. If this doesn't solve the issue, upload and share your project. Here's how ... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ Someone will check it out.
  23. The trial versions are the same program as the one you purchase. Eventually some features may not be available. No need to reinstall, unless there's a new version . When you pay, a registration code will be provided to unlock all features. Upgrades are free for six months but the purchased copy can be used indefinitely.
  24. Kindly upload the VPJ file from your project once again. No need for the source files. Thanks.
