  1. Hello, You may try to plug your X32 Rack into a different USB port and confirm if it works. In case the issue persists, it is recommended to reinstall MixPad. You need to make sure you install the version of the program that corresponds to the license you have purchased. Regards.
  2. Hello, Please be informed that Speech to text requires a SAPI speech-to-text engine to be installed on your computer. Most Windows machines already have it installed. You can also install software such as Dragon Naturally Speaking or any other engine which claims SAPI compliance. Yes, you need to configure your microphone to be able to train your profile. Please be aware that the training function is managed by your speech recognition software, not Express Scribe. You may want to watch this video tutorial that explains how it works and how to configure Speech to Text: You can also check out this link: http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/scribe/win/optionsspeech.html Regards.

  15. Hello, if you are using ASIO hardware then you can check the Enable monitoring for ASIO devices box which will allow you to hear what you are recording through your headphones. However, a better approach to monitoring your recording is to use your hardware directly. Most external soundcards will allow you to directly monitor your input via a headphone output. This option will provide you with the best performance and zero latency." Regards.

    Transpose in Mixpad

Hello, Please be informed that MixPad cannot be used to transpose a song. In this case, I can recommend you to use Crescendo: http://www.nch.com.au/notation/index.html The Transpose feature in Crescendo allows you to change all the notes in your piece by a number of semitones. To do this, open the Transpose dialog from the Score menu, or from the Score toolbar tab. The Transpose dialog allows you to choose the number of semitones to transpose up or down. Transposing by 12 semitones will transpose your piece up by an octave, leaving it in the same key. Transposing by -4 semitones will transpose your piece down by a major third, and so on. Note that the range of semitones allowed by the Transpose dialog is determined by the range of note values in your piece. This is done to prevent you from accidentally transposing too far above or below the staff. If this prevents you from transposing far enough, try changing the clef first. For example, if you can't transpose your piece low enough while using the treble clef, change to the bass clef and try again. Regards.
