Hey everyone, I am having trouble recording while listening to already recorded tracks. For example, I have the drums all recorded on their separate tracks and now I am trying to add bass to it. My setup is a Behringer X32 rack and from that I have two monitor speakers. The only way I can hear what I have recorded is if I use the aux option which would be (headphones) in the playback devices dropdown. Whenever I try to record with headphones set as my playback device, it gives me an error message. If this makes sense to anyone and you can help me out, anything would be appreciated. Thanks!
I'm finding the software great to use to create a score, but when I click the playback I get nothing... no audio and no change on screen (i.e. from other responses in this forum I'm thinking I should be seeing the current note light up yellow as it runs through the score? I don't see any change at all - clicking the play button does nothing at all). (Otherwise my PC has audio working. E.g. for NCH Mixpad it works fine.) When I place notes on the stave they do light up yellow - should I also be hearing audio while placing notes? I'm on a PC, laptop and have the latest version instal
When pressing the playback button, the vertical red line is moving, the level bars at the bottom show sound being generated but nothing is heard for about 1 to 2 seconds. So, I am missing what is played at the point where I pressed the playback. Reasons for this? Ideas? Solutions?
So I want to play the score that I made. I wanted to test the software so I integrated the signature six notes from Metallica's nothing else matters. Crescendo was however "unable to play midi"... The template "dance of the sugar plum fairy" gave the same message after I pressed the play button. I don't have any midi applications in the background, nor do I have music apps like Spotify or even youtube videos opened. I tried restarting the application, but this did not resolve the problem... Please help. I need this program for school.
