  1. Clean here, when exported at 1080 resolution, which you can select manually in the resolution drop-down box. Briefly, here's another link for version 13.40.
  2. Thanks for sharing. Something's not right. Use this release instead of the latest. Ignore any virus warnings.
  3. What version of Videopad is being used? Test the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If you take a few minutes to share your project, someone here will check it out. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  4. What version is being used? Look at the bottom-left of the window. What are the PCs specs: CPU/GPU? Go to OPTIONS | ADVANCED. In the GPU processor area at the bottom, click the caret and in the drop-down menu that appears choose None (CPU only). Restart VP. (This option may not be available in older releases.) Test the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. The current version can be run on a trial basis even if your registration has expired.
  5. Few releases sported that feature, where the colors differentiated voice from music, etc. It may have been a test? Right-click on the audio track and see if there's an item referring to color.
  6. Do you mean that only one-second will export? What export settings are being used? What are the specs of your PC: CPU/GPU/RAM? Please install this one. Ignore any virus warnings. Report back. If you take the time to share the project as instructed just above someone will check it out.
  7. One approach... Position the cursor at the head of the clip, using the ||< and >|| buttons under the preview window. Right-click the clip and Change Clip Speed. Click In the Duration column and enter the desired time. If you need to see the duration that the clip occupies, mouse over the clip. A pop up will list it... Click Set. All clips will ripple to accommodate the new speed. Record_2023_06_11_21_08_22_180.mp4

  9. Ir's been noted that some GIFs don't animate in Videopad. If the GIF appears under the Video bin, it will animate; if under the Images bin, it will not. Share that GIF and others will check it out... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  10. The dated 11.38 (64) is here. Ignore any virus warnings. The latest 64-bit release is here.
  11. Try LOSSLESS export, from the HOME toolbar, if available after editing. The raw clip took :40 seconds here. Both video and audio were perfect. On the problematic PC, try the REVO procedure. Good luck!
  12. https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html?software=VideoPad File a suggestion.
  13. Registration status should make no difference. Clear Unused Cache Files, under OPTIONS | DISK tab prior to starting a new project. Given a minute or so to fully cache, this file, like the others, played fine in the current VP release (13.45+). Test this slightly older version. Ignore any virus warnings. And try the REVO suggestion. Do you have another PC available for a comparison?
  14. No luck trying to replicate the issue here, using several different VP versions. Install the current release and see how it does. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  15. Very peculiar indeed. Did you use the REVO uninstaller to delete all files, then install the latest? Does this occur with the clip alone - no editing - as linked above. Or does the problem surface after adding transitions, effects, fades, etc.? If only the clip, please upload your third video - the one where sound stops. If it happens after editing, please share the full project, as instructed above. Someone will check it out.
  16. In addition to caching to an SSD, five tips on speeding up VP rendering... 1. Upgrade the PC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Obzhlp0kfY (One of many such sites available via a search.) 2. Create source files with AVC (264) encoding and enable the GPU encoder, which is usually done by default, under OPTIONS | ADVANCED. 3. If content is lengthy and very high-def, consider using proxies. See this 'sticky' post. (This is a common editing practice.) 4. Lower the export resolution. Very high-def may not be needed, considering the device to be used for viewing. 5. Break up lengthy or complex projects into segments. Export each in turn. When editing is complete assemble the segments for the final export.
  17. You would have to query the company about that. The O/S release available on the Videopad download page varies. But you can d/l the 64-bit from the link above.
  18. Try to share a file here (or in private, so it can be analyzed. We need to have a look at the video. Did you test the slightly older version linked above?
  19. At export, the auto-selected frame rate, default quality and resolution are likely okay as is. 4:3 is no doubt the source aspect ratio. To fill the frame, try Crop and Zoom. Experiment to see what looks best. If you take a minute to share a few of these pics, someone here may be able to offer more specific suggestions...
  20. What's the project's length and resolution of the bulk of the source files? Are they AVC or HEVC encoded? Test this slightly older version. Ignore any virus warning. Is there a difference? Take a few minutes to share your project. We'll have a look. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  21. Yes, there's a learning curve. There were several instances in the project where snippets of clips appeared at a join, and a dissolve had been programmed. That may have been due to insertions not made precisely at the join. Also, there were clips that had been unnecessarily split, which in some instances caused a jump cut. Placing the desired part of the full clip on a higher track - in essence, a patch - solved that. Higher tracks take precedence over lower tracks. If you chose to export your original project instead of using the video file linked in the PM, this release somewhat older release may give better results.
  22. When the video clip has its audio and video linked, then moving one will move the other - to maintain sync. If that's not the case there, let's take a look at that part of the project...
