  1. If you uplink a five-minute lossless extract, we can test whether further extracting one-minute sections w/stretch causes issues. If it's the extraction of the one-hour-twenty minute file that seems to be at fault, please upload the original.
  2. Examined all files directly on the server, and 1096 and 1043 of the girls definitely had a problem that couldn't be replicated here when the original source file was exported at 1080 / stretched. 1006 and all other files were clean. Exported both the projects at 1080 / stretch. No glitches in the result, using v10.96.
  3. Using v10.96, exported a 1440x1080 Mp4 and a 640x480 AVI to 1920x1080 in stretch mode and didn't spot any flicker ... other than that caused by the VHS footage.
  4. Some installs have that feature, some do not, so if you install the same version again it might not be there. Right-click on the audio track...
  5. Try this in the export dialog screen... The file that results can be imported into your project.
  7. This issue appears to be fixed in the latest version .
  11. Video editing is resource intensive, especially when a lengthy project contains hi-res files. Install the latest Videopad 64-bit version, which is best for that task. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Work with one file at a time, or even split up a big file into more manageable chunks if necessary. Each can be exported and later assembled for the final. Here is one approach to easily parse the desired sections... Import the unedited master clip to the bin (top-left). Left click to select it (the clip name will be grayish blue-highlighted). Press <ctrl-C> on the keyboard. Left-click in an open area of the bin, not on a clip. Press <ctrl-V> on the keyboard. A copy of the clip appears with the # (1). Do this as many times as needed for the clips that will be used. Do not edit the master bin clip. Clear the sequence timeline, if necessary. Now select the clip with (1) in its name. It appears in the preview screen. Move the red cursor below the PV screen to the in point of the desired section. Click Set Start. Move the line to the desired out point. Click Set End. Jot a note or rename the clip by right-clicking it. Repeat this process for sequentially numbered bin clips, isolating the desired content in each. These become the individual clips that you want in your project, which can be dragged onto the sequence timeline in the desired order. Alternatively, right-click the bin clip and choose a placement. OR click the chevron to the right of the ADD button under the preview window for the same placement options. As for 'cards': if they are still images, just import them into the bin and then add them to the timeline between your clips. Or click ADD TEXT button to create them in VP. Experiment with the options offered in the text editor. Each 'card' becomes a clip in the bin, ready to be added to the sequence. For protection, Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. To restore a project, double-click its VPJ file. If you make a mistake, immediately press <ctrl-Z> to backtrack, step-by-step. When all clips have been assembled on the sequence, Save Project File AS and then EXPORT a Video File. Default settings are often best, but there are many options. Trim_a_clip.mp4
  12. Likely a limitation of available screen space, but you are not the first to request this. Put in your two cents worth here... https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html
  13. If there's more than a single audio track, your second image is what you get. It appears that audio track one is not being used (muted). UNlink it from video and delete it. Then audio track two will expand, as in your first image.
  14. That image is 9248 x 6936. My take is that the resolution is too high for VP to handle, but it will be submitted to the developers for analysis. Here's the image reduced to 1920x1080 that plays fine with no appreciable loss of quality. Download, and give it a try.
  15. Take a minute to share your project and someone will check it out. That's the best way to troubleshoot. Just follow these simple steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  16. Please get a screen grab and link it here if possible. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." Very strange behavior, not reported by others. Try the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  17. What version of Videopad is being run? Look at the bottom-left corner of the window. What's the format of those images? Take a minute to share them here or privately and someone will come up with an answer. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  18. Perhaps the install was corrupt. Try it again with this version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Speech to text isn't very useful, as it doesn't parse the text to the associated video. You'd be better off with a service that specializes in captioning. Here's one Output can be an SSA or other suitable format to import into Videopad or a caption-capable viewer, such as MPC-BE, that is loaded with your exported file.
  19. If the gain in your editor editor is just under clipping then when imported into VP the waveform should be suitable. You can reduce gain in Videopad, the waveform won't change. Share a typical sample.
  20. You can increase the gain to normal levels and Save AS, so the original is unaffected. When that's brought into VP, the waveform should reflect your changes.
  21. Share a low-audio file. If we can work with it, that may generate more suggestions. Here's a little trick you can use, to increase the waveform and bring the gain up to normal levels... Right-click on the audio track. If Edit With Wavepad is offered, click on it. In Wavepad, under the Levels tab, raise the amplitude. Or normalize the file. Click the red X at the top-right and Save. The file will be replaced in videopad, and the amplitude will be reflected on the waveform.
  22. An install location option has been requested from time to time. File your suggestion... https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html Haven't run across a 'portable' version. https://portableapps.com/node/62698
  23. The 20-year old XP O/S was a good system, and remains on about 1% of computers, so few VP users are likely to run it. MS support ended in 2014. But for those few, your tip could prove helpful. Thanks for sharing. Another possible approach, via a right-click on Videopad.exe (the executable, after installing). Compatibility mode.
  24. Don't believe that this is available. But it's relatively easy to reinstate them manually. Take a screen shot for reference if needed.
