  1. This is not a Videopad fault. All VP versions export standard file formats that play fine in WMP. Hints at a WMP codec issue. Look here... https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/get-windows-media-player-81718e0d-cfce-25b1-aee3-94596b658287
  2. Thanks for sharing the file, which was tested a number of times here, and by a developer. Every one of my runs was in sync, the last using 11.01 with your HQ settings. See my Personal Message (click the envelope at the top-right of this forum) for the result. So, inconclusive and unable to replicate with the current release version.
  3. Upload the project and someone here will check it out. That's the only way others can see what you see. Is the freeze seen in preview or just in the exported file? The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  4. The original image appears to load and play okay in the current version.
  5. Sync and colors appear to be good in the current release.
  6. Good find. There are many handy presets in Videopad...one of its strengths.
  7. After ZOOM is applied with the settings shown above, the clip looks like this (click the image to enlarge)... ZOOM to any area by either dragging the preview window image handles or moving the sliders.
  8. Had you changed versions when it stopped working? What version succeeded earlier? Were earlier files the same multi-channel rips from BR. This has been reported. Please leave the original on the server for a few days so it can be accessed. Thanks.
  9. Last info was that H265 doesn't support graphic acceleration in VP. And H265 is indeed out of sync. Use H264. Better still, export as LOSSLESS. A world faster, higher quality. Suggest that NORMALIZATION be applied to the audio track; it's low. That completed in just a few minutes in 11.01 and the result was in sync and excellent in Media Player Classic, BE.
  10. Without adding an effect, the file that you linked looks exactly the same in VP playback and export as does the original. Both MATCH MONITOR and MATCH CONTENT mode look like this - a 16:9 A/R. But if Instagram is having issues with the odd resolution, export as follows in Videopad...
  11. Share a file that does this and someone will take a look... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  12. Try the Letterbox to A/R effect. If no go, upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  13. It appears that 4096 width is the export maximum for VP. For higher resolution you may have to step up to a considerably more costly NLE (likely via subscription) that demands a relatively steep learning curve.
  14. When you say "it just does not play locally now on my PC" do you mean that AFTER EXPORT you can't see it in WMP or some other player or do you mean that it doesn't preview in Videopad? Place the completed project on the timeline. Then click the Menu item (upper left) | FILE | BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO A FOLDER. Upload that folder to to a free sever, as instructed above. GET LINK and post that link here or in private.
  15. Two zoom effects were applied to the clip specified, but no parameters were set. Use only one zoom effect and follow the above advice on how to zoom an area. The pages are larger - less border area. Of course, you can zoom in as much as desired.
  16. We need to see the entire project, and you can state here what the in and out times are for the zoom effect. The sharing process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps closely... 17. A still image, when exported, becomes a video which should look just like the preview screen, using MATCH MONITOR mode. Upload the 'recorded screen' file and someone will check it out. It's still unclear just what is being captured, by what program, and the result you expect. Please describe step-by-step precisely what is being done.
  18. You recorded a screen shot and saved it as a PNG or JPG file and now you want to import it to Videopad and zoom in. Is that correct? Once it's on the sequence, click the FX icon in the clip and choose ZOOM. Drag the handles of the box in the preview window, or use the sliders to circumscribe the desired zoom area. Experiment with the presets. Export the result. Record_2021_11_27_15_44_49_970.mp4
  19. Once again, to solve this we must see the project. It can be uploaded privately ... it won't be shared with anyone else. Follow the instructions above. After closing Videopad, you can also try using Windows Explorer (the file manager) to delete all files in these folders. Then reinstate Videopad. "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components" "C:\Users\<PC name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components"
  20. It's not inconceivable that this isn't a VP issue at all. A codec for WMP may be missing. Try this media player. Without seeing the project, it's tough to tell what's going on. If you want to solve the mystery, please upload as instructed above. And list the PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM?
  21. Seems this is a PROJECT, not just a file. Sharing is easy, quick and can be done privately. Please follow these instructions step-by-step and we'll check it out... 22. Lossless editing specs must be met. https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10288.html The program handles LOSSLESS and Export/Auto differently, which may explain what your result. As for the 'black file, let's take a look. That's the only way for folks here to see what you see. Please share a file or two that has the issue.
  23. The Normalize loudness issue is solved in the current version. It's newer than 10.36.
  24. Nat's selection info is spot on for any VP version. Precisely how this works varies slightly depending upon the effect and VP release. For example, in the current version, some effects are applied instantly to all selected clips. Other require using the 'replace chain' button as well. A test of 8.06 shows that clicking FX on the last selected clip (or on any single clip) applies the effect to only that clip. To apply to other selected clips follow up with the 'replace chain' button, as shown here... 8.0x_multi_efx.mp4
  25. The 'chain' icons should be there. Here's 8.06 on a Windows PC. Works as advertised.
