Is there anything like a special sign to tell the interpreter that the song should be played in a shuffled manner?

Hi, unfortunately there' s currently no option to add a rhythm marking on at the beginning of the score, indicating two eighth notes are to be played as  a triplet subdivided to a quarter + eighth note.

If you wish to make a formal suggestion to our developers, you may refer to this link:

We value your inputs and feedback.

Just upgraded to 12.47 on Mac.  Please tell me that there is an option to get my nice white background and I'm just not seeing it.

Hi, a similar concern has been raised some time ago.

    https://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/30517-changing-the-background-colour/

Assuming you are running an older version of MacOS (perhaps Mojave or earlier), you may be able to run older versions of MixPad.

You may give this a try:

Problem recording acoustic electric guitar through focusrite scarlet solo. My vocals record fine through a mic but the guitar is not being picked up on the track.

    Help please.

    Thanks.

Hi, you could try these out.

    1. Kindly make sure that audio input levels of both channels are set properly.

    2. Make sure that your Focusrite audio interface is properly set in MixPad Preferences

    3. Make sure that both your vocal and guitar tracks are record-enabled, and are set properly. You can do this by clicking the wrench icon on each track and select the input device per track.

    Hi,

been using WavePad for at least 6 months now and have had little to no issue. I even bought the pro version. However, just this morning I have been having an issue where the app turns whatever file I add into a muddy mess.

the strangest part is that the file I save after using the app sounds better too. It seems just to be a bug with the app itself. And before you ask, yes I uninstalled/re-installed the app and the problem persists.

    Someone please help!!

Hi @jakesinc54, could you send over a screenshot of your audio configuration in WavePad?

Also, for diagnostic purposes, kindly send us the following information about your machine's hardware. Kindly give out the most details you can to the best of your ability.

    Processor:
    Boot/Storage Drive:
    Memory:

    *FOR EXAMPLE*

    Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-8500 (6 cores, 6 threads)
Boot/Storage Drive: ex. 500 GB NVME SSD
    Memory: 32 GB DDR4 RAM

When doing anything music related, I use an external audio interface. I'm on a MacBook Pro and the interface is Focusright Scarlett 8i6 3rd generation. Anyone know how I can route the audio thru the interface?

Hello, currently there is no built-in option in Crescendo for Mac to select a specific audio output device. Routing it via a third-party routing software (like LoopBack/SoundSource) would sometimes cause it to route MIDI signals rather than audio. There are some users who reported that they have no trouble running Crescendo with an external audio interface on Windows, some, even on Mac.

For the meantime, you may continue using Crescendo by connecting your headphones/speakerse directly to your computer's audio output jack.

Is there a way to copy the image of the signal and paste it to a Microsoft Office document?

Hi, you may simply take a screenshot/snip then copy the saved image onto your Microsoft Document.

Maybe a dumb question, but how do I record in mono? I searched the manual, found a few posts about it saying to "press the Stereo button" (where is that?), or converting stereo to mono, but can't figure it out. Thanks! Scott

Hi, when you go to WavePad > Preferences > Recording, you'll have an option to choose which recording device you'd like to use.

By default, most microphones record in Mono. If your device records otherwise, let us know, or you may file a ticket here:

The above solution worked fine in the previous edition. Why won't it work in this one? I asked this question about four weeks ago and have not received a reply. I have purchased the new edition but am still using the old one for this reason.

Hi, this might be of help: Go to Score > Settings You should then be able to adjust system height, staff height, and system spacing.

Does anyone know how to push the first system down lower, in order to put some text above the music and not have it be cramped...?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, to adjust staff settings, go to Score > Settings

You should then be able to adjust system height, staff height, and system spacing.

Can I use the same WavePad program on two computers?

All the NCH Software licenses are single-user licenses, this means that you can only use it on one computer or one user per computer. If the same license is used on more than one computer, your license will be blocked, and you will only have one chance to unblock it every 12 months.

  11. Probably the best option would be to copy the entire 180 GB folder onto an external drive -- then move the original 180 GB source folder to a different location, say, your desktop. Then try to open the project from the external drive.

If everything goes well, then it should be safe to delete the source folder saved on your computer.

If something goes bad and you can't seem to track some files and are having problems with loading the project, a couple of "undo move/copy" commands should take you back to where you started.
