  1. The last version should be compatible with Mac OS Big Sur, when you say it does not seem to work at all, what exactly do you mean? If the program not opening up for you? Do you get any error messages? try reinstalling again from the link below:

  2. Not sure if you are asking,  if there is a way change the monitor window it is recording or if you can recover the video for the post you tried to record? If it is the second option then there is nothing that can be done to recover the video because it was just not recorded at least not the part you needed. 

    If it is the first option then locate the SELECT RECORDING WINDOW section on the lower left of the Debut main window and select the icon that shows a small monitor with 4 arrows on each corner of the screen, then select either the primary or secondary monitors.

If you already paid and your issue is now the license registration, I would suggest you contact NCH so they can provide you the link to download the version of the program that is compatible with your license so you can reinstall and register again. and if that does not correct your other technical issue I would suggest you let them know about it so they can help you.

  4. OK, now the problem here is which device you synced first. To not lose your data you had to sync the main device first the one that has all information and then the second device so it can pull the information already in the cloud from the main device. If you did this the other way then the main device pulls the information from the other device you synced first which obviously since it has no information it pulls nothing but it replaces the information you had before with nothing.  (This is why they asked you to backup data first in case you make any mistakes.)

    The only thing you can do now is check the Dropbox account to which you synced the devices and see if the folder is there and if it has information in it. If it does I will suggest you download that to your computer to have a backup of it and then try syncing the main device again. 

    If the folder is there but is empty unfortunately that would mean the information is lost as there is no other way to recover it.

  5. Do you get any error messages when converting? What exactly happens? Could you share the epub file here for testing? Or  you can contact NCH Technical Support Department for them to help you with this, so you do not have to share the file if you don't want.

  6. Did it work before? Have you gone through the Controller Setup Wizard, should be under OPTIONS (Preferences if in Mac)  > CONTROL tab > Click on the CONTROLLER SETUP WIZARD to run it. You should also have a mapping option in that same location, make sure the mapping of the pedals are correct. If they are and you have gone through the setup wizard then try a different USB port and setting it up again.   7. Where is the program installed? Are you using the web access local network connection or Internet? What IP from the program are you using to access the Web Access? This could issue could be related to the available bandwidth you have through that connection.

  8. If you really need to  edit/remove unwanted parts after moving the files to your computer with Golden Videos, then the way you are doing it is right, Not sure what video editing program you are using but NCH´s VideoPad can export to DVD after you edit the files. So you can use Golden videos to move the VHS tapes to your computer you can then add those to VIDEOPAD and edit them and when done just use videopad´s DVD export option to export your files to DVD.

     

  9. Sorry the program does not list what effects or other editing you did on the file. This might not be related to that anyways since you say it happens when you record, after you do a new recording it should sound normal. Save the recording to mp3 a play it on different player and see if it has the same issue. try reinstalling the app and see if that helps if not contact NCH Technical support team.Sorry the program does not list what effects or other editing you did on the file. All you need to do is go back to effects and click Image overlay again, in the APPLIED EFFECTS window you will see a second IMAGE OVERLAY section, this is for the image you will be adding now, so add the image, set its location and you should now see both images overlaying in the same slide. You can keep going back to EFFECTS and do the same process to add more. 

    **When in the APPLIED EFFECTS window you will be able to expand or contract the settings for each effect you have used.

You are correct, I send you information for WavePad, my bad.  Thank you for the information you shared and you are correct that is the way Mixpad behaves, and yes every time you change the name MixPad will see it as a new file and therefore it will keep creating the files you mentioned again and again every time you change the name.

  12. The only way to do that is to go to PREFERENCES > AUDIO Tab > At the bottom to you should see a Delete Unused Cache Files Now, click on that and make sure to set the dropdown on top to Delete everything on Exit.

     

  13. Are you using this on a windows or mac? Have you check the audio options in the program to confirm you have selected the correct audio setup.

    **Do note if you are using mac and you do not wish to record from your headphones mic you will need an audio plugin such as soundflower or loopback to route audio to Debut.
