  1. I think the sounds you are referring to are the Windows event sounds, these sounds are controlled by Windows OS not by MixPad program. You can remove certain warnings from the program which usually generate some of the sounds as well but if you wish to disable all sounds you will need to disable the event sounds which will be disabled for all applications on your computer.

  2. Yes, that is the latest version for Switch. The best I can think of is for you to uninstall and install again to see if that changes the background, but I'm also using version 8.18 and my background is completely white. So that might just be how the version 8.18 looks. The only other option is for you to test older versions to see if you get one with a dark brackground.

I wonder how yours looks, would you mind sharing a screenshot here?

  3. In this case all you guys need is to make sure you have installed the correct versions of the programs that are compatible with the licenses you own. If you guys are not sure what versions you are supposed to have installed you might want to contact NCH Technical Team, they should be able to provide you the specific links to download and steps to register the licenses you already own.

You can create a ticket for them here:

  4. You guys should make sure the program is using the correct recording device. You should be able to go to Preferences/Options > ¨AUDIO¨ and under the recording section make sure the correct recording device is selected. You also need to make sure the device is set in Mac and Windows as the default input device. You might also want to make sure the program has permission to access the Microphone if you are using internal microphone.

If you still have issues you might want to contact NCH technical support here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

  5. If this is for mac, there is currently a bug with the program running in MAC OS Big Sur and their developers are working on finding a solution. If you have a windows PC then you might want to create support tickets in the link below to get assistance from the NCh technical Support team:

@Musicman 1281 * SoundTap complies with Microsoft's DRM signed driver model and will not record streams if a DRM player is used and if the stream is marked as DRM copy-protected.

Spotify uses DRM, so SoundTap will not record.

  6. That means you will need to get into your router and allow port forwarding from port 1097. If you are not sure how to do this, you will need to ask the person or company that  installed your router. Once you do this you should be able to access the program from any other computer outside your network. Keep in mind this option will work only if you access from a computer located outside the network where you have the computer that has the program installed.

If you plan to access from a computer that is located inside your network you must use the Local Network IP address shown on the program.

  7. That is actually very easy, just open the program go to ¨Invoices List¨ select the invoice you need to send the packing slip for and right click on it, several options will display one of them should be packing slip if you hover your mouse over it you will see the options to preview and print.

  8. 480p is the highest resolution of a DVD. The maximum resolution a standard DVD is 720 pixels horizontally by 480 pixels vertically (720x480). This can be progressive scan or interlaced. What steps are you taking to burn the DVD, what exactly are you trying to burn? Is the video you are trying to burn in HD quality?
