  1. Looping is not done by PhotoStage, if what you need is for the video or slideshow to play over and over again this is something you need to set on the player you are using to reproduce the video. Most players have a loop option, so all you need to do is find it and enable it.

  2. New versions of the programs are released constantly, if one of the versions you were using had a bug and this was fixed in a newer version you should have contacted NCH Technical Support to see how they could help. The issue you are describing in the Windows version should not be happening, it should load the file no matter the size. The best you can do is contact NCH Tech Support and have them assist you with this. You can create a support ticket for them here:

    https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

  3. The channels window shows up if you load an stereo file, this widow cannot be removed or closed, unless you remove the stereo file. You will need to convert the file to mono and load it back into the program so the channels window does not show up.

  4. When you use the free version you will be asked from time to time to confirm you are using it for non-commercial home use only. If you close out of this message or choose the wrong answer the program changes to the trial version which will eventually ask you to purchase. You will need to uninstall the program and then install again from this link to see if it will allow you to use the free version again:

If it asks to purchase you will need to acquire a license to keep using it. You can purchase a basic or Pro license here:  https://secure.nch.com.au/cgi-bin/register.exe?software=scribe

  5. You might want to uninstall the program and erase any Debut folder left behind from this locations:

    - C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\
    - C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\
    - C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\
(if you can't find the ProgramData or AppData folders, set Windows to show hidden files and folders as per https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files)

You can then install the program again and see if the options shows up for you, if not you might want to contact NCH Support here:  https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

  6. You can only monitor what you record if you have configured the track you are recording on with  ASIO compatible hardware. So you need to install ASIO4All if you do not have that installed and make sure the recording device you are using is compatible with ASIO. Each track has a wrench icon in its controls, make sure to click on that and Under the recording options section make sure you have set the correct device with ASIO. You should then be able to monitor the track while recording.
