  1. In this case please reinstall the Debut from this link and try again: https://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/debutpsetup.exe
  2. So you don't have sound on the resultant video? Please check the following: In the Options of Debut go to the 'Devices' tab and confirm that "Capture Sound" is enabled. Also ensure that the Sound Device selected is your computer's sound card, and the Input Channel is "Windows Record Mixer". Click on the "Open Windows Record Mixer" button to open the Recording Control window. Make sure the correct output is selected. Stereo Mix (or Wave Out Mix) should be the one you select if available. If using a capture device, select the sound device associated with that capture card. Also check that the volume slider for that output in the Recording Control window is set to an acceptable level. Open the Windows Volume Control mixer by clicking the loudspeaker icon on the computer's system tray, and check to see that your selected device is not muted.

  5. Try the option called "Trim Silences". This can be used to remove or shorten silent regions. It is similar to Auto Trim, but provides more advanced functionality. It works by scanning the selected region for the peak level, then searching for regions that are the Auto Trim Threshold level below that peak. These 'silences' can then be removed, or shortened.

  7. 1. Make sure that you have selected an effect from the list on the left 2. Check that Voxal is receiving your microphone's signal. If it is not receiving the signal, please check this: https://www.nchsoftware.com/voicechanger/kb/1802.html The status should read: Successfully processing! The audio meter will be moving as you speak, it should be in the Good Mic Level section Voxal must be opened prior to the program that you are using the effect in. Close both programs, open Voxal, then open the program where you would like to apply the voice effect.
