sorry can't do it with switch.
  2. as far as the Real formats go, Switch does ra and ram ONLY.
  3. Actually it asked you to go to www.nch.com.au/acm/formats.html, which is a comprehensive formats listing page. If you had read the documentation that came with Switch, you would have noticed that we don't support the .bu format. See the "General Usage" section in the documentation.
  4. nope, the format is owned by Cubig and it appears they won't let anyone else have the means to convert out of that format (not that I can find at least).
  5. love to help, but Switch does not support the vwd format. We only support the formats listed in the help documentation.
  6. yeah sorry our software doesn't (yet) support the extract of audio from a video file.
  7. well it would help me if you could tell me what program you are talking about (?)
  8. what does "it seems to have disappeared" mean? disappeared where? if the file does not appear in the load file screen, then that means it has a file extension that Scribe does not recognise. Make sure your mp3 files actually have .mp3 file extensions.
  9. asf works fine in the latest Switch, not asx though. You would have to open the asx file in notepad and extract the asf URL out and then download the asf file first.
  10. I just tried converting an mp2 to mp3 in Switch and it worked fine. I believe I got the DirectX mp2 codec on my computer after installing RealPlayer, perhaps try doing that first. Actually, reading your post a little closer, have you tried using Switch at all?
  11. If you forward your request through here http://www.nch.com.au/development/ then we will present you with a quote for programming the extra features into Switch (and work on implementing the features ASAP of course).
  12. If your computer can play Qdesign ACM files, then yes it should be possible. But of course Switch doesn't yet support converting files to the same folder as the source file so you would need to explicitly specify the source folder to the program.
  13. I don't have any suggestions for you unfortunately
  14. if you are referring to a "Cubig Digital Recorder" format, I believe Cubig give you software with the recorder to convert the files to .wav format.
  15. The added features in the Plus version are mentioned in the help documentation. See the Overview page in the documentation.
  16. we'll take it as a suggestion sure.
  17. wma files need to be decoded before being converted, that is why it takes longer. Plus the wma decoding code is written by microsoft and not us (and we can't change that).
  18. please read about midi files here http://www.nch.com.au/acm/formats.html
  19. you can't do that yet. That feature will be implemented for a future version.
  20. not yet there isn't sorry, but its a suggestion we are already examining for a future version of switch.
  21. no there isn't, not really sure what the problem is there sorry, I just converted a 5min file and it worked fine....
  22. wma is a microsoft proprietary format, we don't support converting audio to that format sorry. How did your walkman fare playing standard audio cds? You can use Express Burn (www.nch.com.au/burn) to burn an audio cd and see if the walkman likes it or not.
  23. no it won't, you can still load the files manually in Scribe.
