  1. I cannot suggest any solutions for you unfortunately.
  2. well if you are desparate enough, you could download RecordPad and then record the song as it is playing back, thereby saving it as a wav file. If you can't connect your phone directly to the line in on your sound card, you may have to use a microphone to record it. www.nch.com.au/recordpad
  3. nope sorry, we can't support them in our products because those are proprietary formats (as you know).
  4. you could try getting v1.24 of the plugin, see if that makes a difference. http://esupport.sony.com/perl/swu-download...95&PASSVAL2=SMB If you cannot open it in media player, it is safe to say you will not be able to get it to work in Express Scribe.
  5. if anyone finds a free midi to wav converter that works from the command line, please let us know thanks.
  6. yes, use Express Burn in Audio CD mode. www.nch.com.au/burn
  7. you'll have to bug sony about producing a plugin for macs, we would also love it if they did that.
  8. can you play the files in switch or in media player? switch is not capable of copying atrac files to atrac files, I can tell you that with certainty.
  9. presumably there is something in the oma file that tricks switch into thinking the song is 1 minute long. Whether that is true or not, I don't know.
  10. download the sony plugin from here: http://esupport.sony.com/perl/swu-download...95&PASSVAL2=SMB install it, restart your computer. Now simply load the dvf file in switch and convert it as per normal.
  11. its not yet available for mac os x sorry.
  12. there is a free version, but the pay version lets you convert to lots more formats, like aac, m4a, flac and ogg. extra pay-only features will be added soon which you should also be able to take advantage of (without paying again). We do thank you kindly for purchasing our software, it lets the programmers know that their work is being appreciated.
  13. yes, use Express Burn in audio cd mode, and the conversion will be done on the fly. www.nch.com.au/burn
  14. not with switch sorry.
  15. assuming you are using Express Burn, make sure you are burning in Audio CD mode, and that you are burning to a CD-R disc (not CD-RW).
  16. this is odd, the mp3 component is supposed to be installed when switch is installed, but it appears switch cannot locate it for some strange reason. I could only suggest at this point in time to reinstall switch.

if you think it is of type ADPCM, try renaming the file extension to .wav and see if that works. (I would also advise you to get the latest version of switch)
  18. well its supposed to be auto-downloading the aac decoder, but it won't if you aren't connected to the internet at the time. Get it here anyway: http://www.nch.com.au/components/aacdec.exe
  19. an m3u file is not audio, it is a playlist file that contains text only. Open one in notepad to see an example for yourself.
  20. yes, get the atrac plugin and install it first though. http://www.minidisc.org/atrac3.zip
  21. wma is a microsoft proprietary format, you would have to ask them.
  22. I wasn't even aware ram files supported multi-track audio! At any rate, Switch won't be equipped to handle it.
  23. can't do with switch sorry.
