  1. Yes, that behavior changed some time ago - whether by intent is not known? It's been reported. Just came upon a way to accomplish what you want... Unlink the clip. Drag its audio to another track. Lock the clip. Now audio can be dragged independently.
  2. Here's how... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  3. Share the project and someone will take a look. What version is being used? Look at the bottom-left corner of the window.
  4. Without seeing the project it's hard to say what happened. Perhaps there was blank content at the end that needed to be removed??
  5. What version of VP is being used? Try the beta, linked above. Use LOSSLESS EXPORT from the Home toolbar, if available. If the issue isn't solved, share the project and someone will come up with a fix. It's easy, takes but a few minutes and can be private. Just follow these steps... 64-bit?

Click the 3-lined Menu item (top_left), then HELP | ABOUT VP. If it doesn't list "64-bit" it's the 32-bit, as shown here... The current 64-bit release is available here. Older versions, both 32- and 64-bit can be found here. Ignore any virus warnings.
  7. RESOLVED via PM What version of Videopad is being used? Share your watermark file and someone will check it out. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." It would be helpful if you also upload a screenshot of your pixelated result.
  8. What version of VP is being used? What are your PC's specs: CPU/GPU? Try LOSSLESS EXPORT from the Home Toolbar. Install this beta release and see how it does. A new official version will soon be available. Report back
  9. Try the beta release, linked above. If normal export is bad, click the LOSSLESS EXPORT button on the Home toolbar. If that also fails, please share your project as instructed above. Someone will come up with a fix.
  10. Another approach to test... To export, click the LOSSLESS EXPORT button on the Home toolbar. If it accepts it, this will create an mp4. Use YouTube's uploader to process it. What are your PC's specs: CPU/GPU? Let's see your project, so it can be analyzed and fixed. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. 11. Odd. Of course, there's never a mandate to update - especially if the release being used is working well for you. Newer versions can be test driven, even if unregistered. Test beta version 13.49. If normal exports have the same issue, choose LOSSLESS EXPORT from the Home toolbar. Still no joy? Close Videopad, then use this free tool to uninstall it. Let it scan registry entries as well, select and delete them all. Then install your preferred older release (have your registration info on hand) or the beta linked above. Please report results here.
  12. Try this beta release. A new official version should be along soon.
  13. You might want to check out this beta while awaiting a new release version, which should be along soon. Take a minute to share your project, and we'll see how it does here. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. 14. Once the clips are fully cached there should be no "building preview" delay. With very high-def or large files this can take some time. Let the green line complete. Adding effects may cause re-caching, but that delay should be minimal. With 2/4K files, consider proxies - a common practice. Smaller versions of the files are used for editing, then the originals are substituted for export. See the Proxy Editing sticky at the top of this forum. Also. if your PC runs Windows 64-bit, install the VP 64-bit release, which better utilizes memory.
  15. Several ways... Right-click a clip and APPLY LAST VIDEO EFFECT. Or select the clips and then program an effect. If it isn't automatically applied to all those you have selected, click the Replace Effect Chain button on the effects toolbar... It's the icon with the green check mark.
  16. That's precisely what you will get after ZOOMing and exporting at the custom res of 640x360... Right-click and SAVE this mp4 and look at its Properties... 640x360.mp4
  17. Use ZOOM, not CROP.
  18. For frame accuracy, test this beta release.
  19. Glad it worked out. Next week, download and install the official release from https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html The version # is shown at the bottom-left of the Videopad window.
  20. No need to send. Use the 13.49 release and export losslessly. Looks fine here. Note my added suggestions above.
  21. Better. Using the latest version, linked above, export with the LOSSLESS choice from the Home toolbar. That should do the job. Consider cranking down the music, using the slider to the left of the track... Also, for efficiency and speed, try not to load clips that are not being used. .. To purge them, select them all in a bin with <ctrl-A>, check the "do this for all" box and click the CANCEL (not the Delete) button. Then click the caret to the right of the SAVE button on the Home toolbar and choose Save AS. Give it a unique name, such as "<your project name>revised."
  22. Peculiar. Please share this project, so it can be analyzed and fixed. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  23. Please install this release ... and report back.
  24. With a 16x9 aspect ratio, perhaps something like this video. Background on track 1, text on 2, insert video on 3. Animate the MOTION effect for scaling and position. See http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win64bitpaid/effects_animating.html If you post a link to the "nice video" someone here will attempt to duplicate it more closely. Scale_pan.mp4
  25. Animation duration is how long the timer will run within the set clip duration. For example, if these are the settings... This will be the result... Timer.mp4
