Right-click the file in the bin (top-left of the window) and click ASPECT RATIO. Play around with the many settings options. 2. With the clip on the timeline click its FX button and then click the small green + item on the toolbar, second from the left. In the preview window, use the handles (dots) to draw a mask that's the shape desired. UNtic the "mask inside" box. Click the large green + button on the toolbar (far left) and click the TRANSPARENCY item. Drag the slider to the far left. Export. To achieve the effect desired you may have to utilized the SCALE or ZOOM effects.

One way... Select (highlight) all clips in the section and press <ctrl-C> to copy. Click the + sign to the right of the SEQUENCE tab that's above the timeline, to create a blank sequence 2. Press <ctrl-V> to paste what you copied into that sequence. then export it. SEQUENCE 1 will be unaffected. The exports become new clips that can later be imported and assembled for the final project. Or, simply create new sequences for each part and later combine them into the final new sequence, as Nat suggests.

In the export dialog box there's a PRESET field. Click in the field for the many format options. Test them. One is iPhone vertical video 9:16. There's a similar Android choice.

Videopad is not a colorizing app though its SEPIA, COLOR ADJUSTMENTS and TINT effect controls might make the footage look better. Check out the resources here.

Also note the VIEW menu. Click the chevron for three options: clip only, clip + background, sequence.

Global adjustments might be best applied to the entire file. However, depending upon the file types/resolution and PC capabilities this could be cumbersome. See how it loads. Use SAVE AS and give it an incremental # so as not to overwrite the earlier saves. To more easily locate items, after bringing up the HELP menu, press <ctrl-F> for a search box, then type in the term in question.

Try the stabilizer first. Right-click the clip in the bin (top-left). Click STABILIZE VIDEO. Under Advanced, there are many parameters to toy with. The active sequence on the timeline, usually just SEQUENCE 1, is what export uses to produce a video file, DVD, YouTube upload, etc. There is no "export sequence" dialog. However, if multiple sequences have been created, they can be exported en masse with FILE|EXPORT ALL SEQUENCES. Each sequence will prompt for format/file changes. See this thread. A sequence is an arrangement of clips on audio and video tracks. Each project can have multiple sequences. Sequences can be viewed in either Timeline or Storyboard mode. A sequence can be used as a clip inside another sequence. For example, each scene could be edited in its own sequence, then all the sequence clips could be ordered in another sequence to assemble the final video. Note that subtitles added to a sequence will not show when that sequence is used as a clip in another sequence.

One approach would be to break a project into manageable parts, perhaps five half-hours. Edit the first, then export it. Do the same for the second, and so forth. When all five parts have been exported each will be a single clip. Load them in order into a new VP project and export this final version. Check out this thread.

You have seen this no doubt... NCH Video Output Options - Lossless Export Settings Lossless export provides the highest quality video. It does this by re-encoding your video file only when required. Some editing functions require your video to be re-encoded on export. These include adding transitions, adding effects or exporting to a different file type than the original file. The following criteria must be met by the input/output videos for lossless export to be used: We currently support H.264 and MPEG4 encoder video sources. The output format must match the input format. Supported formats are .avi, .mkv, .mov, .mp4 The output and input must have the same dimensions, encoder profile, levels and extradata. Visual effects are not supported. Any segments of your video that include visual effects will be re-encoded. At least 10% of your sequence must meet the criteria for lossless editing. If less than 10% of the sequence meets the criteria, the entire sequence will be re-encoded during export.

Lossless prompts for Computer - Dropbox - Google Drive - One Drive and all are active. The cloud servers have a link to option. Strange goings on-there.

The steps... 1. Place the main video - a single clip - on track one 2. Right-click the audio track and UNLINK FROM VIDEO 3. Play to the start of the mispronunciation 4. Make a split of all tracks 5. Continue play to the end of the mispronunciation 6. Again split all tracks 7. Right-click the AUDIO clip that was just split out and click MUTE AUDIO 8. Place the scrubber (red line) at the head of this mispronounced clip 9. In the bin (top-left), under the AUDIO tab, right-click on the new audio clip 10. Click OVERLAY AT SEQUENCE AT CURSOR Some jockeying of the new track 2 clip may be required. Drag left or right until it best fits the 'hole' where the audio was muted in track one. If the end point of the muted area of track one needs to be extended create another split where it should end and mute the audio of that split out clip, just as above. There's no means to change background color. To slow a clip, right-click on it and CHANGE CLIP SPEED. Later you can change it back to 100%. Save your project first, and regularly, with FILE|SAVE PROJECT AS, and give it an incremented #.

You are missing nothing. A strange inconsistency ... following your procedure to the letter. But for the empty #4, each sequence is prompted in turn, allowing for title or data changes. The process succeeds.

An easy way to handle this is to play track one and split the audio track at the point where the incorrect audio begins. Continue to play and split it again when the incorrect audio ends. Now right-click this new clip and MUTE AUDIO. Place your new audio on track two immediately below the muted clip on track one. A little jockeying and it should fit, since it's the same word pronounced differently. This will effectively replace the incorrect audio.

That's what this forum is for. There are numerous tutorials on the WEB. Search for "Videopad tutorials." Be aware though that some are dated, using older VP versions. If there are two audio tracks, both will be heard, unless one is muted. Muting can be applied to the entire track - with the mute icon at its left - or to a specific clip via the right-click method described earlier. Thus, if one clip or track is muted the clips on the other won't be affected. In your case, you are muting the bad pronunciation segment on track one and adding the good one on track two, in precisely the same place -the fix below the original - on the timeline. An export will include both audio tracks. Track one will play right up to the muted clip. Track two will be heard there. Track one resumes after the fix ends on track two.
